The park has impressed me with the complimentary free ticket for 5 rides being closed. It means that even though as Marc said a few of the main rides including the 3 rollercoasters were open, people get another day out of it when hopefully everythings open. Nice one Thorpe

Maybe so but it doesn't mean those closed rides won't make a difference. You wouldn;'t think Toadies at Chessington would matter but people get so attitudey over the smallest things.

Considering this is the first thorpe blast how can we compare them. Just becuase Thorpe have held firework's in the past does not mean these are going to be anything like them. I don't know how but somehow music in the queueline created tension. Parituclarly if your a younger adult and you are already slightly frightened of the ride you'll notice the ticking clock, the electric sounds from the music far more. Fear and adrenaline heighten the senses which is why it seems to be on most rides pre 2007. Think of Vortex's calmer music, Slammer's fire sounds, Rush's upbeat loading music.

Based on golfing ability it has to be Joe Pink or red??
