Posted May 1, 201114 yr comment_114818 I know this is a stupid question.... as I already know the answer but just wanted to clarify with everyone elseI'm quite a big broad guy 6 foot 2 with a 46inch chest and my waist is about the same, will I have any struggles getting on the rides?
May 1, 201114 yr comment_114819 Chest Restrictions are 51/2 inches so you should be fine! Always try test seats though, available at the entrances to Saw - The Ride, Samurai, Vortex, Colossus, Nemesis Inferno, and Stealth.
May 1, 201114 yr comment_114845 In training the staff are taught to never push down on the bars, as in some cases they can hurt you, but only if pushed very very hard.Ohhh is this why they just do stupid tap of seatbelt which doesn't reassure anyone in the slightest that their harness has been checked? :rolleyes:Highly unlikely to hurt someone, never had complaints or even mention of discomfort at the other parks.
May 5, 201114 yr comment_114960 Indeed in staff training it says to make the guest pull down their restraint as they will know what is comfortable however this is not always possible to get the restraints secure. In my experience I have never had a guest that has declined an offer for me to try and push down the bars further as most will obviously wish to go on the ride and will appreciate the efforts of the ride team to accommodate them. So long as I double check that the guest is comfortable I have no issues in aiding them. That being said the official restriction for most rides are 51 inches but rides like stealth and saw can accommodate guests in excess of 51 inches
May 27, 201114 yr Author comment_116664 I was fine on all of them with plenty of room, me just being a worrier.
June 1, 201114 yr comment_116969 Vortex is quite bad as the bars fly down pretty fast and hurt me every time.
June 1, 201114 yr comment_116971 Whenever I'm strapped into Saw: the Ride, on leaving the station I'm quite comfy but when I return, I've usually been crushed to within an inch of my life.
June 1, 201114 yr comment_116985 Think of poor people with balls. I've never had to consider the way I sit on a ride until SAW..

June 2, 201114 yr comment_117017 The whole ride it's like a challenge, I push up on my bar so I can still have children... Metaphorically.I never win the game.
June 13, 201114 yr comment_117725 hi I'm worried that I wont fit on some of the bigger rides as I have a 51" chest and I would be disappointed if I got there and I couldnt fit on them
