Being serious for a moment though. I sense most of the negativity towards the name is because of it being similar sounding to Hyperion at Energylandia Lets be real though, what percentage of the people walking through the gate at Thorpe on any given day actually have heard of even Energylandia let alone Hyperion??
  2. Trailer for Behind the Attraction Season 2 on Disney Plus. Looks like attractions covered are: Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Indiana Jones Adventure Also firework shows and food Behind the Attraction Season 2
  3. Thorpe 100% - but what a year it will be, followed by Alton Towers new Horizon the following season as well.

I completely agree. Also the “find your fearless” tagline - yes it’s a bit odd, but at the end of the day it’s just a tagline on a ride in a theme park, it’s not that deep, and in any case it’s not going to ever cross the mind of 99.9% of riders, the same as “Colossus - it never leaves you” or “Galactica - Journey Beyond”. I’ve been very critical of Thorpe over the last few years (because it’s been crap tbh), and it’s very easy to look at anything they do now with scepticism - but I think everyone agrees this ride is something special.
  5. Completely forgot the Legoland coasters were happening. Excited more for Nemesis because I can get there in a day and not need to stay over. Thorpe is more effort these days. Also Nemesis.
  6. Definitely Hyperia by a large mark. Not only is it the tallest uk coaster but also the first coaster at Thorpe for 12 years! Plus another Mack hyper. Also very excited for Nemy’s return though. Plus it’s nice to see Drayton finally get a new coaster and Legoland getting those duelling coasters.
