Just noticed that on the website that Saw Alive is now closed until Fright Nights..

Josh, in my eyes that covers it, I guess at the end of the day when your on the parks property there in charge so to say, rules like this have been around on Fungle and Carousel before, and are enforced if the staff think its needed to do so. Because its the "people like you" (not you! ) who ride the ride, mess around causing problems, rides are very dangerous, even more so rides like rumba rapids, people messing around could very easily cause serious injury on the ride, for that reason they have decided they need to limit it for the time being for the safety of all who ride. To add to that , when I rode yesterday there are new signs up reminding people to remain seated and those who dont will be ejected from the park, I'm guessing somthing must of happened.

I dont see how limiting a ride is discrimination, its in the interest of health and safety for all their guests. I doubt it will even stay like it very long anyway till a better solution is implemented.

Can you really compare that to a riding a ride at a theme park? Thorpe's T&C's cover them selves regarding this, comparing it to giving out driving licences / knives IMO is a whole different extreme.

Your safe now tbh, I think the bottom 3 will stay as they are. Despite everyone telling me were up, I'm still nervous and not fully convinced!

Swarm tested with one of its trains without the facades on it for some time, I'm sure it will get somthing.. hopefully!

Fire effects have been installed for months, just waiting to get approved, the water effects have already been raised to get the soak zone wet.

I see your point, but I dont know what happened and I doubt many here do, the only people who will know about any incidents will be the park, if the majority of these incidents are caused by what they define as "adults" and choose to restrict the ride for a short time till measures are in place to improve this then thats ok with me.

There simply must be a reason for them to do this, its somthing what will without doubt cause complaints so its not somthing they will take lightly. I dont think you can compare internet trolling to the health and safety of people.

Cost mainly I guess, staffing on some rides can be reduced on one train, cost of electric sending around double the amount of trains, especially if its very quiet could be sent around mainly empty.

It dont really bother me personally, id rarther it opened on time (infact opening half hour earlyer than advertised) on 1 train than open later on 2 but that might just be me

Is the park still opening 30 mins earlier than advertised? They do seem to open it on one train quite often and upgrade it to two within 20 mins or so of it being open.

So thats where infernos wheel covers are... Wish they would get them fixed / replaced!

In the past you wasnt able to, the units at thorpe added at the last minute didnt have what I'm guessing was a data connection so they had basic tills, Colossus this year now has a normal till as does Swarm, not sure about Saw but I expect it will do.

Its for under 18s so they cant sell alcohol legally, I'm sure there will be alcohol at any over 18 ones!

For the record, Colossus was closed because of Sick, it ran fine apart from that
