  1. Inferno > SawSaw is far more intense than Inferno but I'm one of those who rarely come of Saw without a headache, theres a few points around the track where its pretty painful. Theming wise I would go for Saw though, whilst it only really has the warehouse / dark section so does Inferno and I find Saws more interactive and just a little better overall.Stealth > InfernoEasy one for me, theres a reason Stealths the parks icon ride, its fast, intense and stands out by far, nothing on park can beat Stealth front row for me.Colossus > InfernoAnother easy one for me, for all its problems (trains / restraints / slow loading times) I still find the overall ride better, I think it interacts better with guests both on and off the ride and overall provides a more enjoyable experience.
  2. Just wanted to say the Saw lights meant to flicker like most of the other lights do inside

  8. Last to open too isnt it?
  9. Thorpe Parks newest ride, The Swarm is to feature On Ride video's of its victims as they brave the ride, and Thorpe Park have asked for their biggest fans input into the final product, you!Obviously, the core footage of the DVD will you be on the ride, but what else would you like to see included on the DVD?Post your thoughts here!
  10. I think this is where we disagree, for what you get IMO annual passes are very good value for money, which is why I guess I dont mind things such as the £5 event fee, I spent a fair bit on it last year which is why this year I decided to get a premium pass.
  11. Surely thats abit different? I'm not sure if you remember but alot of research went into the Annual Pass situation, with standard and premiums, I certainly remember filling in a survey a while back about the different options so it must be what the majority of the many annual pass holders want
  12. I guess ive come to the conclusion that moaning about things wont change much so may aswel just get on with it.. That dont mean I agree with everything they do.
  13. I dont really see your point. All I'm trying to say is it shouldn't really come as a surprise, its something which has been the case well over a year now.
  14. Most of them have some kind of acting qualification, I'm not too sure about which ones are required mind.
  15. You would have signed your pass agreeing to the T&C's that this was the case, not really their fault if you didnt read them!
  16. And thorpe are the only ones who bother to let people know?
  17. Gates are closed for today now, only pre booked tickets will be able to get in.
  18. I thought Thirteen had its brakes changed from Magnetic to Mechanical a few months after it opened so they could fully load the trains again?
  19. Whilst I'm gutted its going I'm not in the very slightest surprised, its VERY costly to run, has its own problems which I guess would be costly to sort out and is not atall popular with the guests. It was always nice they bought it back and it actually lasted longer than I expected it too. I'm sure it will upset guests, as did Octopus Gardens but they do make it crystal clear what their target audience is and do strongly advise family's they should consider CWOA .
  20. After running for 9 Hours yeah it was running well, I disagree times catching up on them though, IMO Colossus is running the best it has in years, whilst it still has the old problems of the restraints being abit of a pain, the ride its self runs well and is much smoother than it was 2/3 years ago. What I meant is the rides have to be half decent if there to have the effect, its no coincidence that 2004 and 2011 wernt great years for the park.
  21. Barley aware of? I'm sure every one whos visited thorpe park in the last month are pretty aware of the ride opening next year by the way of adverts or seeing the construction them selves.IMO its impossible to always look at things from a fanboy POV because at the end of the day, its the 1000's of paying customers on the gate who really matter to the parks.
  22. If they were not good why would people come to ride them? Why would people tell their friends about them and so on making the park the success it is today. What fanboys and the general public think are good are 2 very different things.
  23. I love how fanboys brand the Intamins as awful, but they ignore the hard facts that its the Intamins which are the parks most iconic rides and have made the park what it is today...
