  1. The parks been open 30 minutes it really shows how some annual pass holders are there pretty much just to complain - all closures bar 1 were advertised in advance. They would be better off not doing these events how they do and having an annual pass evening a few weeks into the season imo when it's all settled down.
  2. No the park isn't open its running an annual pass preview event!
  3. Way before then! 2004 maybe? I'm sure somone can help me out!
  4. Can only Assume the tower isn't being built now.
  5. The attention to detail on the themed station is pretty amazing really!
  6. No movies are mentioned. From Tp.com: EARLY BIRD TICKETS ON SALE NOW! Brave the live action horror mazes, where Liongate’s most terrifying horror films come to life. Iconic scenes from Cabin In the Woods and SAW along with THE BIG TOP come back for another year of screams. Live action horror mazes return alongside thrilling rides in the dark including THE SWARM, UK’s first winged rollercoaster, SAW – The Ride’s 100ft ‘beyond vertical’ drop and Stealth, one of Europe’s fastest and tallest rollercoasters. Something new is brewing for 2016, so keep your EYES peeled and mind the gap between now until October Something related to DBGT?
  7. The park map advertises lionsgate mazes again for this year.
  8. Samurai is set to be closed too.
  9. It's a preview day which they don't have to do - just don't go and wait till open day
  10. I believe the 12p tickets can be used from Saturday 26 March until Thursday 6 October
  11. By broken waterfalls I assume your comparing to Colossus - a ride closer to 15 years old and went through many years of neglect during the end of the Tussauds era.Now let's compare to more recent rides - stealth had its bunny hop repainted last year to clean up rust from tidal dropping on it, all Saw theming is in full working order as far as I know? Swarm effects are a bit more tempremental but on the last day of season the only missing effect on that was the air plane mist? I Know it's easy to slate Merlin but I think they do a pretty alright job at keeping things in order and have no reason to believe they would just let their biggest ever investment rot. And if actors are part of the attraction - then I don't have any doubt they will remain part of it - comparisons to Saws queue actors don't do much for me - can't even queue in there anymore anyhow!
  12. They likely have an agreement with Derren Brown - if actors are part of the attraction they will not be cut.
  13. The same Swarm which as far as I know (other than weather) hasn't had a day closed since it opened? Get what you pay for!
  14. Oh don't get me wrong I totally agree with you - but on the other hand I totally see / understand why the victims would not want it to reopen.
  15. I don't think you can blame any of the victims for wanting the thing torn down - it's easy to judge when none of us can come close to imagining the trauma these people have been through. The mirror are twisting her words for a sensational headline though which they will always do - it's probably best to get it all out the way now so the park can get on with the season and opening Galactica.
  16. I doubt it will mean more cuts - Merlin no doubt will have expected this and will have been in mind it's budgets.
  17. ^This it will be a great loss if PETA get their own way with seaworld, but it wont stop there they wont be happy till we are all vegetarians! Its a bit like the Asylum no we had here at thorpe (all be it on a much larger scale) I find the thought of visiting seaworld and skipping the shows madness, they are a huge part of what Seaworld is, the B&M's will be there for years to come, the shows might not be so if your at Seaworld see the shows, there is plenty of time for rides after!
  18. I thought this was only as San Diego and Orlando had no plans (for the moment anyway) to do this.
  19. I dont think they are going into it blind - it will be thoroughly tested - I cant really see headsets breaking etc being an issue, they will no doubt have spares. AS for the VR section going down- if there was to be a problem I expect that would be a shutdown like a technical problem on any other ride and closed to be fixed.
  20. I expect we will see a huge ramp up in the marketing when there is a confirmed opening date for the ride.
  21. Marc

    Football

Tbf he's been to a few league games this year too!
  22. Stealth is more forgiving then say Colossus -- All the coasters have test seats you can try out, aslong as the seatbelt goes in you should be fine.
  23. I'm pretty sure Summer Nights was on the list of events from the start - I remember being pretty surprised they had returned and how many there was.
