TBH I'm not sure if its a good price or not as I've not been on one before to compare, I wonder if its ran by HB Leisure? I expect they will quickly adjust the pricing (up or down!) depending on the demand.

Fastrack

I'm not to sure how thorpe will handle it, id assume just using the normal fastrack queues. Thorpe have always stated fastrack don't guarantee instant access, just quicker than the main queue line. As for the car park you are correct there is only standard parking at thorpe. Have a good trip!

Fast track

Fastrack tickets are timed - there are only certain amounts per time slot so they urge people to stick to their times to ensure your queue times are a minimum. As for what you should do, personally id wait and see what its like on the day, theres no price difference between buying online and on the day so id play it by ear, if you get there and its packed then you can head to either Depth Charge or Inferno Fastrack units and purchasing the package / rides you want. It maybe worth arranging your trip to fall into a "Summer Nights" event, tickets are either £15 or £5 for annual pass holders and all the major coasters are open between 7PM and 10PM, last year queues were at a minimum so it was easy to get multiple rides on all the coasters https://www.thorpepark.com/events-experiences/events/summer-nights/

Fastrack

At the same time at Portaventura you'll have MUCH more fastrack and those who dont wish to pay for fastrack simply push past everyone. Swings and roundabouts really, I dont think the disabled system at Merlin parks is to unfair, back in 2003/4 disabled guests could simply show their wristband and skip all the queues, now on the major rides they can not ride another ride for the length of the queue (so for example if a disabled guest rides Colossus and it has a 1 hour queue they will not be able to use their band for that hour) Though this only covers the major rides I dont think its a big advantage as it once was.

I doubt there are a huge amount of banned people, security at the parks will probably have a pretty good idea whos banned, especially ones which have drawn alot of attention like this one.
6. I think you can scan your phone at the turnstyles not but not 100% sure. Does it say if its your ticket? If you make sure when your there you have some proof of purchase you should be fine. Could always tweet @thorpepark they will know for sure

Rush

Did notice on Sunday neither swing was even making it to 90 degrees. It's a shame but I guess the priority now is to keep it open for the busy summer period.

Along with that you'll sometimes be handed a bit of paper with the time on and you hand it in at the front which tells staff the queue time. There are plenty of ways they use to work it out but none of them are 100% accurate

Fastrack

No they do not. They have data recorded and know the average queue time from points in the queue depending on if the rides on 1/ 2 trains etc. of course this isn't an exact science and depends on many many things (not just fastrack)

Fastrack

The problem with Single Rider at thorpe is most of the queues were never designed for it, on rides like Colossus / Inferno single riders slowed down dispatches more than anything!

Fastrack

Thing is any fastrack no matter how it's run will slow down the main queue - reserve n ride is back soon I do think it will be intresting how that can change things.

Fastrack

The vast majority of the time the back row will be closed of for Disabled riders who must ride on the back row (think this is the same for Stealth too?) 9 times out of 10 the normal fastrack queue will be open.

FlowRider

It's not open just yet!
15. The whole 10 mins is played on the bridge / admissions area I think!
16. A couple of snaps of the FlowRider which started to go up yesterday. If the weather stays good can see it being a pretty fun addition to the side of the beach which is rarely used now.
17. Heres a concept v's real thing - missing the coaster track "ribs" behind the Shark I think they look pretty close just being made up of Thorpe Park themed scrap and not just wood
18. We are looking into a few issues - it will be back soon
19. The Coaster Track ribs are now up too!
20. The only iPhone 5 ones at the moment are the black ones with the I <3 TP in pink!
21. I'm pretty sure its meant to "officially" open at 10 all season according to their website just more often than not they will open at 9:30. Annual pass holders are unofficially let in 15 mins early sometimes but dont think this is an official perk.
22. Looks like it's open now with a 60 min queue according to the app!
23. It won't cut jobs as staff will be required to scan your tickets, if anything will need more staff to run it well.
24. Last time I was at the park when it happened loggers and samurai reopened as soon as the car wasn't sat behind Samurai.
