  1. I actually said to james coming out of the first loop on saw that I thought the wheels had been changed. Creepy
  2. What do you mean It's not possible for a discount to Annual Pass holders? Remember staff get discount on the Thorpe Park Express so it is possible. All it takes is an agreement. I think I'm speaking on behalf of everyone that has been on the Thorpe Park Express during peak periods that is is hot, stuffy, smelly, packed to the brim and generally an extremely unpleasent experience and the fact you have to pay £3 (which in my eyes is extortionate) is outrageous. One more thing. If you look at the benefits of the Merlin Annual Pass you will see you get a discount at Little Chefs. How about they stop making stupid agreements like that and save annual pass holders money on travel to the park. After all annual pass holders are for people that frequently visit attractions.
  3. The Saw DVDs are not fully on sale yet as they are still in the testing stages. The systems are being tweaked after the easter holidays to get all the ride's video working.
  4. It's true, my gran was on it. =\

  9. I had a nightmare on the fish. Rollback... Twice!
  10. Jigsaw was Testing his own ride today
  11. Blue peter rode Colossus today
  12. I don't know how you can compare the staff as a body, they arn't different breeds of people it just depends who you talk to. If you talk to a happy enthusiastic staff member at Thorpe and a grumpy sod at Chessie you end up saying Thorpe have better staff and vice-versa.
  13. Slammer opened yesterday and it said it would't be on the website and park entrance.
  14. To be honest I wouldnt call any rollercoaster scary. Us coaster fanatics are so used to rollercoasters and g-forces and speen we don't get the same sensations as one time riders get.Obviously Thorpe are gonna wanna attract as many people as the can to the park hence why they advertise the rides as the worlds greatest and worlds scariest. I do think nemesis inferno is a fantastic ride and to be honest I found Saw to be very thrilling. Most of the time the public use scary as another way of saying thrilling.
  15. I disagree with those who disagree. I think Thorpe Park have done a brilliant job.
  16. I miss Vampire Mcdonalds not a hug fan of Burger King.
  17. That video actually wound me up. listen to the people around. "It's not funny!" and "If they can't get it working...". It's a breakdown and they are in no danger. Grrr
  18. I have to say operation was like clockwork. Fast dispatch time.
  19. Saw opened at 11am today due to one of the effects not working properly. It was given the go ahead as the queue was building up and it was not fixable anytime soon. The pendulum blades were not swinging today as they kept cutting out. However at 4:20 a quick reset was done and the blades are now working with no apparent problems. =]
  20. Stealth sent 2 or 3 trains today with water dummies. Engineers were doing stuff with the breaks on the launch track today. Don't think it will open tomorrow, possibly Saturday.

  22. Here is one of the pics I took for the latest Saw construction update. The Annual Pass Exclusive day. I asked the actress to stand next to the Saw sign and strike a few poses. She did and one of my favorite ones I got was this CLICK HERE
  23. There are currently 2 cars with on-ride cameras installed, you can see them in the middle of the first and second seat and the third and fourth seats on the front row.
