I was lucky enough to attend the private event last night (John Lewis hired the park out last night and tonight) with Rob and Marc. It wasn't really a preview of Fright Nights (and wasn't meant to be, was just meant to be a private event but it happens to be nearly Fright Nights lol) but obviously lots of the theming is complete/almost complete...won't spoil anything (I think it will be better being surprised too!) but it's looking pretty dam awesome so far! :DAlthough the mazes were open for us!Nemesis Inferno OMG!And the actors in the SAW queueline...well let's just say I like the masks they wear, very effective! Although if you haven't seen the films it won't make any sense. But they look brilliant, there was quite a lot of them and they all did great jobs, hope they remain that way throughout Fright Nights!Mazes were as good as usual, some have been improved with great results (and reactions lol)! :DOh and just an off-topic piece of info (but handy!)...if, like we did last night, you're ever in the area and decide to drink, need to buy alcohol but it's like 1am and a Saturday (so pretty much nowhere to get alcohol from)...go to the Total petrol station in Heathrow, down the road from the Thistle hotel (which I pretty close to T5). 24hr licence! Random I know! but you never know when you need random information like that, especially if you're as random as we were last night! *cough*:PAnyway, back on topic!

I am not in that video But Marc has one on his camera that Rob did and it shows us coming back to offload!Awesome day, and it was cool that we actually stayed together as a whole group (usually we split up into small groups eventually).Air hockey in the arcade was entertaining to watch :PEven though we only got 6 rides done (and that includes Stealth ERT!) it was still good!But yeah as I said, it was still a good day and was good seeing people again and meeting lots of new people Even though there were quite a few people who's names I actually didn't know! The ERT went really well and was good fun! And good ol' Alfonso and Harold! :DAnd Marc had fun when he discovered his camera has hi-speed burst mode!I have some entertaining photos too....*cough*plum*cough*Put the group photos up now please! :DEDIT: "That's what she said"....

Thanks :)The only thing is, some of the medical issues started way before I had all this stress. Hmm Another rant on a different subject:How do people send texts to the wrong number?? Am I the only person that just selects a friend from the contacts list?! I mean seriously, who actually manually types in the phone number when you could make it so much easier for yourself and not risk getting it wrong!I got this text from a number I don't know in August, and I asked who it was and they said they were using their mum's phone. I can't think if I replied or not, don't think I did. Looking back I should have done, and should have said "Yes but I still don't know you, think you've got the wrong number!" Oh well.And today I've checked my phone and seen I have a missed call from that number!Not a major issue I know, but it's a little annoying when it keeps happening!I'll just block the number :DThe funny thing is, when I got the text from them they said "It's me Faisal, using my mum's phone." Well I knew someone with that name who worked at Thorpe during FN last year! But they don't have my number. So doesn't really explain much, probably just some random person.

I am so fed up with looking for jobs, having no luck, which makes me even more depressed and un-motivated to carry on looking. £50 a week from benefits is not enough! I'm not even on about going out, it's not enough anyway!! I can't support my mum properly, I can't buy my contact lenses which I need to replace my old ones (even with the discount from being on benefits), so my eyes are getting worse I swear. When I look at bright lights and look away, I then see whatever I saw elsewhere. Like if I look at the TV and then at the wall, someone's face I saw on the tv will then sort of flash on the wall. I never used to have this, so not very happy :)I don't have any friends where I live cos they have all buggered off to uni, except for my best mate but he has new friends now who he mainly goes out with. We met up a couple of weeks ago which was really nice but it felt a bit awkward and we don't chat as often in general like we used to, we're drfiting apart :DIf I had a job it would be fine, I'd have something to do, could possibly make new friends and go out with them, and I would have money. But no matter how hard I try I have no luck and no one seems to understand. I don't care if somebody else they know got a job - because they live in London and I live in a town full of charity shops! Big difference!And no there is nothing at Gatwick Airport before you ask.It's nearly October already, why is this year going so fast?! I feel like I've achieved nothing. Then I've got health problems which my GP can't diagnose. Fast heart rate all the time and weight loss for no reason. Had loads of blood tests done and they came back fine, which is good I guess but doesn't give an answer. Had an ECG and all it showed was that my heart rate was fast. And then there's the people that don't listen and try to suggest I have an eating disorder because I've not been happy! What does the phrase UNINTENTIONAL WEIGHT LOSS mean to you then?!I've been eating more and not lost any more weight so it's doing something and it's good, but it's adding to the stress because now I'm constantly thinking about what I have and haven't eaten and how many calroies have I had, getting annoyed because my clothes just look so big and unflattering, so I look even younger than I already do! And I just look so bony and horrible and unwell :DI wouldn't say I have actual Depression, because with that you usually feel down all the time, and to the point where things you enjoy are no longer enjoyable. It's not like that with me. It's more I am unable to have the basic things that I enjoy and therefore I am not always as happy!I have a great family and I'm very lucky to have them, I wish I could see them more often, especially people I haven't seen in a while like some of my cousins.But you need a balance. You need family and friends. I do have friends but don't have much physical contact with them. Don't laugh :DI just want a relief from this, some kind of high...and no I'm not gonna become a druggy! I've seen Trainspotting! (good film too!) But I just want to be happy and not have all this stress and depressing stuff anymore!

Went yesterday with Marc and Rob, had a great day! :DStarted off with Logger's Leap!StealthNemesisSAWAte food and met RobRushColossusSAWSlammerSamuraiGot some milkshakes, yum! :DCCRRumbaJoined Stealth queue but then it had a failed launch so we leftTidal (me and Marc)Stealth (was back open obv)NemesisWent to Vortex but it was closed, engineers were up on the main arm, looked like they were working on the "spinning" motor but apparently was something to do with electrics.Quantum which was mad because it went out of sync (ask Rob for more info, he operated it), but yeah it was a longer than normal cycle and pretty insane! Bit like the flirting between the operator and Rob :DXNWO which was hilarious, as on Animation 2 when the train moved forward, I went "What?!" and freaked out cos I forgot it moves forward on that one! Although on Animation 3 it was weird, I swear this year every time I go on it stops and starts differently each time!Walked around and watched Colossus stuck on the hill for like the third time in the day. They evac'd it, although surprisingly they didn't shut the bridge off, so loads of people were nosing!Detonator. Which was AWESOME. I! Did it 4 times in a row (went on three times, last one was last ride of the day so went twice).Not sure what was/is up with Colossus, but the first time we went on it was slow going up the lift hill, it didn't do the usual where it goes up a little and then speeds up. And yeah, kept stopping on the hill all day.Rush was on one swing (swing B ).Did our usual and ate at good ol'Nandos. Food was way too hot, and no it wasn't us imagining things. I've been there loads and always have the same (Hot). I easily tolerate it, jalepenos are worse tbh! But this time, even the first mouthful was like eating three jalepenos at once! It was so bad my inner ears were burning! And today, hmm, not had fun shall we say. I don't know if it was the wrong sauce or what but it wasn't right either way. People will probably just laugh at this, but I'm pretty annoyed really, cos I didn't really enjoy it, took ages to eat it cos it was bad, and I've been uncomfortable all day so my day has now been ruined :)But apart from that it was a good day!

I was waiting for people to mention Rush and Slammer's restraints and then they did!^^that oneColossus in generalSAW dispatching, as the cars start to move there is this kind of whistling/squeeling noise. It's quite quiet, you could probably only hear it when behind the gates. And also there's a clicking noise they make as they leave, sometimes it carries on as it goes round the corner past Billy and before the first drop.Rush obviously. Also, one that no one has mentioned yet - when people are getting on etc, inside the towers (or what most people would probably call it's "legs" lol) there's quiet-ish, continuous hissing noises, I think it' the air/air pressure "re-filling" or something along those lines SlammerSamuraiStealthTidal thundering down the drop, then BOOM the sound of water, then an even louder sound of water as it hits the boat, the bridge and Soak Zone!If Vortex runs without music you can hear the motors (well the "spinning" one) when it starts spinning, it's the really high-pitched sort of noise. You can also hear it from the bridge when it's quiet first thing in the morning and it's testing, but the only people that would be on the bridge at that time would be staff, hence why I know you can hear it from the bridge (worked there in 07 and 08). And also the whining/whooshing noise when it's swinging at full height, again you could only hear it without the music.Zodiac going round it sort of goes "click click click click click" etc as it's spinning.Horsey noise on Quantum queueline announcement!! XDDetonator in general...and the noise of 3 clicks :)And that huge boom it now makes as the car starts lifting makes me jump everytime!Does anyone remember when it used to make that awful squeeling/grinding noise when the pistons got into place at the top? I've heard it was called greying out ;)It happens to me on Colossus going into the veritcal loop, my vision goes kinda fuzzy and my head feels weird but I don't forget anything.And it also always happens on the zero-g roll on Inferno.It's just the g-force I guess.

Ahh...school. Those were the days Panic-buying new shirts and shoes and trousers...PE kits LOL and having to wear the manky spare clothes they had if you forgot your kit. Ew. I forgot my trainers once and the only size they had were two different trainers, so I had an odd pair of trainers!I remember in Year 11 when sometimes the teachers lost track of time and left us only a few minutes to get changed before our next lesson. So we had to get changed as quickly as possible, freshen up/sort ourselves out, then run to Maths...and have the cow of a teacher try and keep us in at break for being late!

Well at about 11:40pm my plane landed back home at Gatwick airport Had a great 2 weeks in Portugal!Grr took bloody ages getting through arrivals though! didn't ger home til about 1am!The news about Michael Jackson was sad and shocking :(And there's a spider in my room not a big one (thank goodness!!) but it has a big ass. Reminds me of a black widow spider...actually I read a month or two ago about a spider similar to the black widow that is now in the UK! =O But it's not deadly, and either way I'm sure it's just a normal spider in my room.It's acting really weird...it keeps going back and forth manically...ok this is freaking me out!Mosquitos any day! Cos if you have the right stuff you can easily repel the buggers. But there's no stopping spiders...and if you throw them out they find their way back!Think I should go to sleep now

Went yesterday and it was busyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy and the reliability wasn't that great buuut I don't mind...I wanted to go to Chessie but SOMEONE drove past the junction :PX was closed all day, Stealth and Rumba closed most of the day.Did almost everything once except Samurai and Loggers which we did twice.Apparently we went upside down loads on the first go on Samurai but somehow I DON'T REMEMBER!! :PAnd we discovered that Rob is ticklish 115ft high up on Detty but not on ground level...weirdo

GRR here is my rant!People who don't answer their MOBILE phones!!Cos they don't have them on them or leave them on silent from work or whatever.Grrrrr!
