  1. Nope, it was a guy called Benin de Giovanni, if anyone knows him.
  2. That's exactly what my friend that works there said. I don't know what area he's in, but he was on Dragon's Fury last sunday, and he want's to go back to Transylvania.
  3. Since Imperial Leather and those yellow ducks invaded, quite easily really
  4. Decided to have a break from thorpe and went to Chessington for a change. The park was busy but managed o get on all the rides we wanted.Dragon's Fury 2Vampire 2Rattlesnake 2Seastorm 1Tomb Blaster 1Extended Runaway Train, due to not stopping in the right place, so got 4 laps Galleon 1Dragon Falls 1Billy Whizzer's thingie 1.
  5. If I ride Samurai, I like to see if I get an outside seat, as I feel it's a better ride. I do like the ride, it's just that it's a let down sometimes.
  6. The close proximity of the bushes at the old site did give a sense of greater speed than the new site. They need to do some planting at the new site to make it look more like it used to.
  7. I don't mind what the future of CC is, although I do like it as it is. I find it's one of the quieter areas of the park, although now with Saw in the area it could get busier with people heading there from Calypso Quay, Amity ect.
  8. I was in pod 1, but just remembered why I had such a poor ride. Does sitting right on the inside affect ride experience, due to the fact that you are travelling less distance than on the outside.
  9. Is the new Katanga Canyon theme music available for download yet?
  10. I think in future I will watch a full ride before joining the queue, just to see if it's on a good setting or not.
  11. I noticed that too. It does'nt seem to slow the car down though, which is good news. It must be cars they have'nt had running on the track as much as the others.Oh yeah, Alfonso doing the SRQ was brilliant, he knew what exactly to do.
  12. Went on it yesterday (29th) and oh my God, it was lame. Good views of Saw though
  13. I went today, and used the single rider queue and it seemed to work pretty well.
  14. That was the first ever Galleon I went on.
  15. Definatley prefered the Fish where it used to stand. It's just lost all of it's character now
  16. Dan_Rush, just for you Taadahhh
  17. True, but at least on Maelstrom you get more of a chance of a decent ride, as it seems to spin a bit a bit more than Vortex.
  18. And Kumali Anyway, back on topic. I do hope Saw is open either saturday or sunday, as my Mum wants her one ride only to tick it.She doe'nt like Eurofighters
  19. I heard an advert for it on the radio this morning aswell.
  20. Does anyone know if Saw will be open this weekend?
  21. Please tell me you're joking!
  22. The tower over the entrance gate needs a bit of work done to it. The old paint is peeling off and looks more Phantom Manor than entrance to Thorpe
  23. Yeah, they made me jump first time aswell, and I was right under them. Went there with the RCCGB today, and thought Saw was an average ride, but with decent themeing. I don't think it's as good as Speed at Oakwood, but the inside drop took me by surprise, though I knew it was there from construction pictures.Kept breaking down again though, but that meant that we had our club ERS on it in the Dark, because of the length of the queue they had to get through.
  24. I saw SAW T shirts going for a tenner today. Going to buy one next time.
