  4. Benin, it depends on the course you were doing, additional work load, personal problems and it also depends if you have any learning disabilities or difficulties. I didn't recieve the help and support I needed when I was doing my GCSEs and A* Levels so I didn't do as good as I could have done. Had I been diagonosed earlier (Asperger's), I'd been able to get the help I needed and grow and develop as a person and also my skills. I would have been given access to medication, additional learning support and 1-1 support with coursework.
  5. I feel a bit burned by what Chris said about how "not all of us can live off of mummy and daddys pocket". Some people go through big problems in life or have too much work and therefore, cannot cope. Some people are slower at learning and completing their work than others, which is why they can't juggle a part-time job and their education.I applied to TESCO's in New Malden when I was 16 and was offered a job but because of my timetable at Sixth Form (AS), I couldn't work the hours they offered me. At 17, I didn't have the time because I was in my BTEC ND Multimedia and I was also re-taking my GCSE in English. I was juggling a lot of things including major family problems. At 18, on the second year of my Multimedia course, I had my first job at Chessington in Food & Beverage. At 19, on the first year of my BTEC ND in Business, I couldn't find many jobs around because it was the first year of the recession and the workload was quite a lot to deal with and to get used to. 2010, the second year workload was at its highest but only because I wanted to get Distinction (A-grade) in every module I did. I came out with full-marks end of the 2nd year which took its toll on me. I was also going through a medical problem, which is why I didn't go to any Thorpe Park meet-ups throughout 2010. In 2010/2011, I'm at my first year of university and so far, everything has gone great. The leap from college / sixth form to university is not that huge because I'm quite used to independent learning from my ND Business course, but there there are some notable differences, which take getting used to. I started to see a therapist from September-December for the problem which I was diagnosed with and I'm doing very-well. I'm kind-of half-way there, which is why I attended the December 2010 Winter meet-up and I'm going to apply for summer jobs. The three years, I was in College (2006-2009), I used to leave my work to the last minute but the fourth year of college (2010) and this first year of university, I've learnt to not leave things to the last minute. And it's a part of time management and preparation, which if you can become good at, you can manage your time perfectly and juggle university work, a social life and a part-time job.
  6. My Sis, her friend and I are also strongly thinking of going to Florida this year; it's kinda 50-50; either here or Las Vegas / Caribbean. We went in '06 and it was busy in some of the parks.Universal and IOA was very busy but Busch Gardens Africa wasn't that busy except for SheiKra. Disney World was bloody busy. Soarin' @ Epcot was 90 mins and Test Track was 80 mins and kept breaking down. If you go in August be prepared to wait a long time in the hot sun but around April / May is actually better because (according to some friends from US), the kids are still in school in April / May.

  9. I asked a friend of mine, who has a PHD in English Literature and Language and he said lusting is to do with sex. Either way I don't want to have sex or want her personally. You don't need to be best friends or friends with them to fancy someone. You don't need even need to know them at all to have a crush on them.I fancied / had a crush on Emma Bunton (Baby spice) when I was 8, so I'm lusting over a girl? Fancy is like a little crush, lusting is something different.
  10. The best way to settle this >> they're both shyteholes. I don't know what's worse Staines or Hounslow. Brunel Uni is near Hounslow, I visited the town centre and it's not exacty my type of town. Hounslows apparently near Staines.I :3 Muggings
  11. Lust is to-do with sexual desire and craving; I do not have any sexual cravings or desires for Cheryl Cole. You can fancy someone's personality when you know them personally and are friends with them, but...you can fancy something by seeing them in a magazine.Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford are examples of famous women that were fancied by men and women that saw them in magazines, on catwalks and via television. Are nations of men and women guilty of lusting what they see in the media?Fancy doesn't mean lust, it could be a simple crush
  12. That's my point Dan. You don't have to know a celebrity personally or be friends with them to fancy them. I fancy Cheryl Cole and that's from the person you see in pictures and the person you see on the X Factor. When I mean fancy, I mean a simple crush. I wouldn't go out with her whether or not all the factors were right or not.
  13. I never knew you went down on him and found out what he was hiding underneath
  14. In that case I'm flattered Steve's actually not that bad looking (general opinion)So it means he fancies you too Ryan? I hope you're excited
  15. Well it's true, you don't have to meet someone face-to-face in order to fancy them. All the people around the world who fancy celebrities they have never met them face-to-face, before in their life. Unless you work with them, know them personally or met them at an event. Steve fancies Justin Bieber and he's, I don't think has ever met Justin beforeSo YOU (Josh) could only fancy a celebrity if you met them and got to know them personally. In that case, you will probably never fancy a celebrity then, the chances of you meeting a celebrity you like and then getting to know them is slim.
  16. You don't have to meet someone face-to-face to fancy them. You can see them on TV or see pictures of them.
  17. Cheryl Cole is gorgeous and is better-looking than Britney Spears (formerly known as the best-looking female white/caucasian artist). She can sing (OK), she can dance quite well and is a good performer. I loved the "Children in Need" performance of 'Promise This'. She is down-to-earth, wears her heart on her sleeve (like me) and has a nice personality. She is not fake!! Lies!! You can't really say she's fake unless you personally know her, worked with her or know someone that knows her. Justin Bieber has a baby-face and can't be considered sexy / hot / fit by anyone over the age of 18; cute maybe...I think he's missing out on a lot of his childhood and should be doing normal things like going to school, hanging out with friends, etc. I think as soon as he cuts his hair, things could go eitherway. His hair is like his thing and once it goes...etc.For example, my Sister works at the same advertising company that did the Coleen Rooney 'Littlewoods' advert and her collegues who've worked with her, told her that Coleen was very professional and pleasant to work with. That would be a justified example.

    Video Games.

It is really scary! I played it around 2008/2009 and I remember concentrating so hard on the game it was so scary; the amount of things that pop out. It could be a corpse lying on the ground playing dead and then when you get close, it will get up and attack you.The demo for Dead Space 2 is out on PSN and Xbox Marketplace and the game is out on the 28th January and there is also the inclusion of Dead Space Extraction for free, which is a port of the Wii Game for the PS Move. All you'll need is a PS Move controller which is £18.00; which I'm getting.Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is literally amazing with its single-player and multiplayer campaign and Mass Effect 2 is coming on the PS3, which was the best game of the year on the Xbox 360. The game (ME 2) is using the engine that was developed for Mass Effect 3. So it's pretty exciting.
  19. As for Alton Towers:Oblivion, AIR and Nemesis are world class rollercoasters. Nemesis was a cheap ride (track-wise) but the hole was a huge expense and things weren't that expensive as they are now. I think if Nemesis was built today, it would cost over £16 million even £18 million. That said I would love for AT to build an amazing thrill rollercoaster.

Rihanna is going to re-release the album next year sometime; she confirmed this herself. I love "Only Girl", "S&M" and "What's My Name" all produced by Stargate who is a legend. I like "Raining Men", "Califonia King Bed" and "Man Down", which is Ri-ri bringing Reggae / Ska to the mainstream market. My point is, "Like a G6" and "The Time..." are generic songs. I love all of BEP's old music from the Elephunk and Monkey Business days; that was proper music. Even songs like "My Humps", "Don't phunk with my heart" and "Pump It" were amazing classics.
  21. US have many amazing rollercoasters but how many of them are well-themed or very-well themed. Only the major parks like Disney and Universal theme their rides. If Thorpe, Chessington and Alton didn't have height restrictions then they would be able to build huge and long rollercoasters.Thorpe Park is built on reclaimed land and is near locals but they have built some rides that can compete with Euorpe markets. Stealth is a 200ft launch rollercoaster which is achievement for the park knowing the struggles they faced. Nemesis Inferno is one of my favourite rollercoasters; it was built within a year and it has a really nice and tight layout. It is themed quite well but I wish it was themed slightly better. Colossus is a world class rollercoaster - the way the layout was designed and how it interacts with the queues, paths and also with the guests themselves is fantastic. SAW is a huge disappointment; I was happy to have a SAW-themed rollercoaster being a fan of SAW myself, but the cost of the licensing outweighs everything. It's very thrilling and the indoor section is nice but it could have been done better. The ride itself was very cheap and the layout stands at 2,362 ft / 720 metres; I would have loved for the ride to have been much longer and maybe interacted with Logger's Leap. The outdoor section is **** after the Immelman Turn. I would have preferred a horror-themed rollercoaster without the SAW brand.I really want Merlin to give each of its parks a themeing budget, which would be seperate from the actual ride budget.

Far-East Movement are from L.A but they are Chinese. And its nice to see an Asian band find mainstream success

I don't like that song it seems a bit forced or pressured to act a certain way. The proper Jessie J, is the one in Price Tag. There's a video where she performs 'Price Tag' for the Daily Mail and that's the person she is.I hate that song 'Like a G6', that's proof of how generic and unoriginal music is. I don't wtf a G6 is and I don't care. I like Far-East Movement because they're Far-East Asian and its nice to see a Chinese-Asian band but I don't like that song.Other music:Gaga's new album is coming out in February and her single will be performed on British TV before Feb 19th. Her next Monster Ball show is around Feb 16 or 19th and she's performing her new material at that show. She's already filmed the music video for her lead single; Born This Way.Britney Spears' new song from next album comes out 3rd January. A new artist signed to Will.I.am 's label and Interscope a.k.a. Gaga's label is debuting her album in March. She's described as a darker Gaga - her music is amazing.

    The Smiler

The article that I posted a while back states that B&M are building their own version of the 4D rollercoaster. S&S Arrow (S&S and Arrow Dynamics) built their last 4D rollercoaster in 2006 and their next one is in 2011 for the China Dinosaur Park. B&M might very well be developing a 4D Coaster / Wing-Rider with spinning seats for Thorpe Park, but nothing has been confirmed yet.B&M has developed a Wing-Rider rollercoaster for Gardaland called X-Raptor and it looks amazing. If something like this or better comes to Thorpe Park, I'd be very happy knowing how reliable and amazing B&M's are.

That is what Thorpe Park are getting according to the article. Gardaland is getting the prototype and they got it at a discounted rate and B&M would take what they learned from the ride and would put that into Thorpe Park's version. Except Thorpe's version would have spinning seats. Why does it make sense if it were for the Towers? For all any of us know, Thorpe Park could be getting a B&M 4D Coaster / Spinning Wing-Rider.
