  1. The sound of Stealth launching is my favourite, I also like the Colossus ride music and the sound of Loggers Leap on the double drop. SAW's squeaky noise should top the lot next year though!

His wife was the tallest rose bush?
  3. The video was pretty well put together and showed off the ride very well, well done to all involved with making the video. Hopefully the squealing noise won't remain for long as it would be pretty annoying if you were in a long queue! I'm excited again now that I have a new SAW video to watch over and over again for the first time in 2 months. :PIt also gives me the excuse to look at whatever SAW stuff I want, my mum & dad never let me before, since it's an 18. Now I claim to be "researching THORPE PARK's new rollercoaster" (when I'm actually watching SAW 2 on YouTube)
  4. Yeah, it actually looks likes this one will be themed, unlike the one at Chessington which can only be a good thing! I'll probably be heading down to Alton on the parks opening day- maybe I'll get to be the first to ride Sea Life at Alton Towers!

Is it text talk of some kind, or is it an actual code?
  9. Alton Towers will always be number one, it has the best atmosphere around the park and the gardens/ towers. Theme parks aren't always just about the rides and Alton Towers creates the ultimate magical experience whereas THORPE PARK is a number of rides which have been built with little or no atmosphere or surroundings...
  10. Opening 2009 at the Alton Towers Resort is Sharkbait Reef, a new SeaLife centre for Mutiny Bay. It will be themed around pirates and will feature a 10 metre walkthrough tunnel. Below are some images advertising the new attraction...What do you think about this new attraction for Alton Towers? The SeaLife centre at Chessington has proved a huge success and a themed one at Alton Towers would hardly be a bad thing in my opinion...
  11. OK, to put it simply I'm not a huge fan of Teacups, but they can be great fun for most visitors to the park. I do like the fact that you can control how much your teacup spins and the length of the ride is very good. Storm In A Teacup is generally walk-on too, isn't it?But I'm not really a huge fan of them mainly because they usually have a very generic and often boring theme (yeah, you guessed it, Teacups ) and I often think that the space that they take up could easily be better used by another ride. But I do like Marauders Mayhem at Alton Towers, the theming is immense!
  12. Oh yeah, Air has now replaced Nemesis in the line up, just in case some of you considering visiting haven't realised. I think it may be something to do with the supports...

I have actually, I don't claim that they're any better than his though.Oblivion RCT3Rita (Yeah this one is AWFUL)Corkscrew RCT3Stealth RCT3- Didn't really theme it though...I don't claim any them to be great though. And I'm sure people will take the mick out of mine. In an almost totally unrelated story one guy on YouTube (no names) told me that my weekly videos were rubbish, some may agree with him, but when he's offering a similar service and his videos are getting lower ratings than mine...

Nemesis at Alton Towers is the one I was talking about, you do know that don't you? Oh yeah, who is Bob? It says on THIS PAGE that they joined on Januray 3rd and have over 1000 posts, yet I haven't seen one post by them...
  20. I would be a maybe but who'd want to see me? Point Proven. I'll wait a couple of years before going on a TPM trip...

Nemesis at Alton Towers, sit back, it's Fright Time... Lets ride on the crappiest scariest RCT3 Nemesis recreation everCLICKYSimply LOL at that video, the poor kid has made a good effort but the ride is nothing like Nemesis!
  22. They could extend the station, or have one exit station and one entrance station.
  23. Dragon's Fury is the best ride at Chessington and far superior to Spinball at Alton Towers. The ride is brilliantly themed and I think that it's an excellent family ride. Although I wish capacity was better as the queues are often huge but, I suppose you can't have everything...
  24. Awful ride, it shouldn't be at a theme park and it's the type of ride that should only be seen at funfairs, if that... First of all there's the health & safety issue, I can't believe that dodgems are even aloud to operate when some many people get whiplash on them from bumping cars! I suppose that they're well themed but I get the feeling that something far better could replace them...Just my opinion...
  25. I don't remember seeing Rush at my local fair either...
