So straight but very open-minded basically?

Aww thats not nice Quite out of order of your sister to be honest. But hey, it could be worse - the fact she could have totally disowned you and didn't says to me they'll accept it and you have nothing to worry about

A little update from Towers Nerd is online now.New Skyride gondola's in action across the valley.A little bit of Cloud Cuckoo Land.Personally I'm loving these news Skyride gondola's, the old ones were in desperate need of change and its looking fantastic and vibrant now.Cloud Cuckoo Land looks nice and children friendly and its good seeing Alton keeping the smaller bits of the park up to date too, and not just the coasters.Thoughts anyone?
  5. I know exactly what you mean, I wasn't gonna go tomorrow but now I am.. just to use that pass.
  6. Correct :)That picture of the layout is a bit unclear but I think its that straight down bit after the curve from the lift hill?
  7. Travelling on public transport to Alton Towers really is a bum. What I usually do is get a Virgin Train from London Euston to Stoke-on-Trent, its an hourly service and takes about 1hr 45. From Stoke-on-Trent there is a shuttle bus provided by Alton Towers (the X65), which is £6 return however it only runs once in each direction per day. If you miss it there are local buses which can also get you to the park. I have the timetable on my other PC and I will upload it for you if you'd like it
  8. Well 12/02/09 was last month so its definatly not valid then :)I think you'll just have to wait until May or June to use it I'm afraid.

Professor X.. Quite a few people going on Sunday I believe, take your pick of who you can hang around with long enough to not go totally insane :)Martin.. Horne and Corden is awful.. I slap you!
  10. They don't, they just start the train up again
  11. They have over the shoulder restraints on their tower rides but they're a bit pants. Prefer them restraints to be honest, and they'd probably make this coaster feel a lot different to if it had full restraints

Once again.. dictionary definition of the word sick. If you meant they're sick as in they make you want to vomit, which is true for me, then I'll let you off :)Mmm yummy.
  13. It's an S&S El Loco.Pictures from RCDB.com
  14. They were broken but the downtime wasn't specifically to fix the axes it seems.
  15. Just to confirm, Saw is now open and the axes have been fixed.
  16. All the queue info boards said 'EACH GUEST WILL RECIEVE A COMPLIMETRY TICKET ON EXIT' too

I didn't watch tonights episode but the ones I did see this year were all terrible .
  18. The track looks lovely and fresh still but I'm not so sure about the train, it isn't a Flying Goldfish! :DEspecially because in real life flying fishs are the same colour as the original train. I want them to bring back the little fishy fountain though
  19. For Tims benefit then...Compare it to now...I think thats a pretty good demonstration of why nobody likes the new Fish
  20. You did know Flying Fish was where Stealth is for years and years right?

Windsor had a robot arm a few years back that you could pick your own ride setting on, was only a temporary thing though. No idea about California.
  23. You just answered your own question
  24. Just to add to what Dan said, you did have to collect them from the kiosks but you had to exchange your entrance ticket in order to get a free ticket. You probably won't recieve free tickets at this stage which is a bummer, and just to make it worse they now have your proof of entry.
  25. Once a ride is out of the hands of its manufacturer, Thorpe Park are responsible for its upkeep. The rides break down so often because they don't get all the maintainence they clearly need.If I bought a Ford Corsa, and 4 years later I haven't done enough work on it to keep it going, it isn't Fords fault, its my fault. The same applies to Thorpe Park.
