The seats do face outwards yup. Tbh I find it gives a better ride than Vortex, its longer, a bit bigger and the seats spin faster.

Would I be totally wrong if I said I thought Kingda Ka / Top Thrill Dragster had something in its launch track that means its can be rolled back to reset position fairly quickly?

It's easily the most reliable out of the Unholy Trinity but I still see it breakdown pretty frequently, it's just shutdowns that last about 30 mins max usually and its reopened then. Don't think I've ever seen it shutdown and not reopen the same day.
