Time Voyagers
I hear that Pirates 4D was being re-located to Alton, so that it could be used in their new sector, Mutiny Bay. Along with Battle Galleons and other such piratey stuff

Usually when you travel through a Corkscrew, you exit slightly to the left or right of your entrance. B&M call them 'Wing-Overs' to avoid ambiguityA Zero-G Roll is an In-line Twist but manages to pull zero g's due the hump in the middle of it. In-line Twists don't have a hump, they traverse in a straight line. Think of a Zero-G Roll (both Nemesis and Nemesis Inferno's 2nd inversion) as a cross between an In-line Twist and an Air-Time Hill.

Slammer
Why? I think it is extremely under-estimated, its a lot more extreme than it appears to be, as all it does is flip you upside down at a great height. Its the G-Force and the free-fall experience that you feel while you do so, and the last backwards swing is amazing because it rises over the top really slowly so you have to push yourself into your seat as all the blood rushes to your head.

The Future Of Neptunes Kingdom
OK, I'm re-converted; Theme Park bloke made a good arguement and I totally agree to how ugly the Octopus Gardens are, I'm not saying they should go, just move them somewhere less central, somewhere that if you want to navigate across the park, you don't have to negotiate getting around these pathetic little things that are completely dwarfed by the (in comparison) gargantuan rides behind them like Rush and Colossus

Park Music
Dunno why but everytime I hear the Flying Fish's announcements I think 'Hippie' rather than 'Surfer Dude'

Samurai
They've done that on Thorpe's website, they've used people who are riding Nemesis Inferno, to advertise Stealth. You can tell that they are riding Nemesis Inferno because they are wearing red B&M restraints

The Future Of Neptunes Kingdom
I actually agree with you on the Flying Coaster being right in your face as soon as you enter Thorpe Park, and I also agree of the Splash Battle idea, as you said it would entirely suit Neptunew's Kingdom, which, having now thought about it, should stay as it very popular. Maybe in a 3-4 years Thorpe will have infilled the new island in Manor Lake, and there could be a possibility of a new Thrilling Area there, complete with its own unique theme and rollercoaster (as each of the main themed zones now have a rollercoaster dominating them).I'm not saying this rollercoaster must be a Flying Coaster, I personally would like to see a B&M Sitting Coaster as well as a Flying Coaster.Mark also makes a good point on the fact that if the Kiddie's rides are too crammed together, it would become a little bit boring and rather confusing for younger kids to stay on one island for 6-7 hours.

The Future Of Neptunes Kingdom
No, I'm not saying that all the family rides should be torn down, I'm saying Thorpe should move them to Treasure Island, as you should have read in my qouted reply to Theme Park bloke's improvement ideas (the comment about the Flying Coaster in place of Neptunes' Kingdom) My reason for this is that way, Thorpe could keep their kiddies' rides away from the screaming of the central island. If Thorpe decide to do this, they should put a few entertainment facilities, toilets and restaurants over there, so the kiddies and there parents wouldn't have to trapse all the way over to the main island just for the toilet. As for the bear hunt, it might not fit in with the new image Thorpe is turning Canada Creek into, and so maybe a re-theme and place that on Treasure Island aswell, as I would speechless if they were to be removed; it was the first ever attraction I went on at ThorpeI didn't mean to be vindictive, but if any offence was caused I am sorry

The Future Of Neptunes Kingdom
Eclipse was added by the Tussauds Group, not Merlin Entertainments, and was removed at the end of its openening season due to lack of riders. Rush now sits where Eclipse once was.And the Flying Fish was removed for a whole year... before they brought it back. And whats so un-thrilling about Tidal Wave?

The Future Of Neptunes Kingdom
Could not agree more with the whole Flying Coaster idea, though I'd like to see one that is a bit more extreme than Air, and maybe it could have a normal loop? It'd be like Slammer at 50mph. And to make it unique and 'A World's First', have it come off the lift, and as soon as it comes of the chain, let it enter a Dive Loop as a substitute for the drop, this will let it pick up speed immensely, and, Thorpe won't need to waste space for the pre-drop turn around like what Colossus and Nemesis Inferno have.I'm also completely with you on removing the Octopus Gardens permanently, as they clash with Thorpe's Thrill Seeker background, and a Huss TopSpin like Ripsaw should be moved there (although Ripsaw would suit Canada Creek the best as it would then not need a re-theme)But as for a Children's Area replacing X:\No Way Out; its in the Lost City, the sector of the Park with the most Thrill Rides and the only area in the park that currently doesn't contain a Kiddie's ride, or entertainment facilities, and hasn't for the past 9-10 years, and so the whole of Octopus Gardens should go and Thorpe should create a seperate island (possibly use Treasure Island) and move Quantum and Flying Fish there along with some new Kiddie's rides, far away from the bowels of the Thrill Seekers part of the Park. The Thorpe Mega Store renovation is a great idea and getting rid of Wet, Wet, Wet and Depth Charge would create loads of space, allowing a very decent sized Flying Coaster, with quite a few inversions (call it Icarus, it would suit the coaster type)

Closed Rides
Slammer is currently closed according to Thopre's website, and Rush has been having a few on-and-off's recently.

Nemesis
I love the music, although it does remind me of being trapped in a sewer
-
Park Music
Its a catchy tune but a nine minute long track of just tambourines and whistely noises? It does get very annoying if Zodiac's queue gets too long
-
Colossus
I don't actually find Colossus uncomfortable, I guess thats because I'm only very slightly most certainly odd
-
Closed Rides
but surely some idiot who thinks he's really cool could come along, see whether anyone was looking, and possibly climb onto the mesh underneath the final turn and actually stand on the track?yeah, he would be thrown out of the park, but that's if the train didn't hit him first

Rush
ive never been on Rush but ive passed many times and every time I see it its Swing B that seems to swing slightly lower than Swing A

Closed Rides

Closed Rides
and they've ruined the second corkscrew's walkway

Closed Rides
yh thats obvious, (stupid H&S) Colossus is one of my favourite rides

Closed Rides
hmmm..... those nets are a real eye-sore, Thorpe should at least cover them in shrubbery and vines to make the ugly things fit in with the Lost City's themeing
