  1. Thank You Marc, and Mark, who sent me a PM :DAnd I love the idea of the TPM Calender! I see my birthday is in 10 months. *starts counting*
  2. They should put spikes on the sides of the cars for extra effect. Ooo, what a lovely subject to talk about on a Saturday morning.

Original, Santa Claus or Father Christmas?
  4. But they are also speculating whether it's an actual themed train, or whether it's a bog-standard, Gerstlauer, un-themed train just for testing purposes.Anyone's guess really; so we'll have to, as Mark said, wait for official photos/videos for any decent amount of info.
  5. Sorry, I'm being blonde atm, but can you change your Log In/User Name? And if so, can you explain how to do it?
  6. Actually, it has been removed from the Concept Art, but imo it will still be there.
  7. I've always thought that the Flying Fish's train's looked scary enough to give the youngens nightmares...

Because it was rumoured that Samurai was returning to Mondial this season, but it's still not confirmed, nor is there any proof of it's departure yet. When Samurai was being moved to Thorpe, it was sent to Mondial to be re-themed. If it is going to be re-themed (and possibly refurbished) this closed season, Mondial won't come to Thorpe; Samurai will have to go to them.

Maybe he did it to shut you (and others) up; because he didn't think you'd be so petty as to go through each piece of evidence with a fine tooth-comb?But still, it is rather easy to see that the pods have Chesington's Samurai décor. The rumour of Samurai leaving for re-furbishment is as much a possibilty as it not leaving. Just because it hasn't left yet does not mean it isn't going, there are other rides at Thorpe that need maintaining as well as Samurai, and as I've said before, it may not be a priority. There is still plenty of time for it to leave before the park opens in 2009; my guess is it'll be gone (if it does go) at the time SAW goes through commissioning, so the dismantling of Samurai doesn't interfere with commissioning. To me, it seems logical, but I'm strange sooo......

So the answer is no then. It won't affect the concrete walls.
  11. No it doesn't.

Well, we've cleared up the mystery of the pods.

Or you could be really smart and just blow the whole thing up, then replace it with a Pinfari Looper and waaaay! X:\No Way Out is inches better already. And smiles are all around.
  14. Sidders replied to Sheepie's topic in UK Attractions
    Ooo wonderful

But that kind of re-theme to X:\No Way Out would make it seem even more out-of-place than it already is, wouldn't it? Unless I'm reading this wrong... it's late for me. :mellow:And themeparkmad, it's really not. Everyone knows Slippery Serpent is!

Do you mean a general mechanical tweak? Or just a more modern model/completely new Top-Scan?

Never really liked this song when I first heard it. But it grew on me. :mellow:The Killers - Human I did my best to notice, when the call came down the line.Up to the platform of surrender, I was brought but I was kind. And sometimes I get nervous when I see an open door.Close your eyes, clear your heart... and cut the cord. Are we human, or are we dancers? My sign is vital, my hands are cold,And I'm on my knees looking for the answer,Are we human, or are we dancers?Pay my respects to grace and virtue, send my condolences to good.Give my regards to soul and romance, they always did the best they could. And so long to devotion you taught me everything I know.Wave good bye, wish me well, you gotta let me go.Are we human, or are we dancers? My sign is vital, my hands are cold,And I'm on my knees looking for the answer,Are we human, or are we dancers? Will your system be alright? When you dream of home tonight. There is no message we're receiving,Let me know, is your heart still beating? Are we human, or are we dancers? My sign is vital, my hands are cold,And I'm on my knees looking for the answer... You've gotta let me know. Are we human, or are we dancers? My sign is vital, my hands are cold,And I'm on my knees looking for the answer,Are we human... or are we dancers? Are we human, or are we dancers? Are we human, or are we dancers?

I hate Argos Extra, simply because it replaced our biggest branch of River Island.
  19. Yeah, that way he can do the whole SAW thing and explain that we 'don't value our lives' and 'that we're about to venture on a challenge' that he's set for us. But who knows? All I know is that after one measly video not being posted, the quality of theming will not be affected in any way.
  20. In all essence, Marc was right, there was no date posted at the end of 'The Ultimate Trap', so you shouldn't have expected a video on the 13th.
  21. The idea isn't all that stupid, simply because only a the smallest portion of Manta's track actually travels over the water. Having a Flying Coaster built entirely over water (so yes, Thorpe may have to flood Neptune's Kingdom and the area occupied by Depth Charge (after they do the necessary)) would offer great chances of theming interaction. It doesn't have to be a Manta Ray, there's plenty of other sea-creatures, why not a mythical one? Mythical names are very popular atm.If Merlin can prove they can theme a ride better than Tussuads ever could (except Tidal Wave) when they open SAW, I wouldn't be fussed if the announce that they're building a Flying Coaster in the not-too-distant future.

YAY! Alexandra won X Factor! JLS suck...

Your playing a game!? OMG! Do I get to lose? =D
  24. Your personal comment sums you up in a nut-shell Still, Thorpe has never been quite that organised, so it's foolish to expect it of them now.
  25. Don't get me wrong, I've always supported the theme, and I'm thrilled that Thorpe have stuck to their plans theming-wise (so far), the track looks amazingly twisted and this could well surpass Nemesis. I just get so piddled off when people become expectant over something that is only really there for the enthusiasts. The General Public don't care; it's not going to go national that Thorpe forgot/didn't bother to post a new video so please, give them a break and commend them for what they've sone so far
