When we were in Year 8, our school took us to Thorpe. They promised they'd take us again next year... pffft! They took us to Brean....

To help with the throughput. In my eyes, if Thorpe do indeed go ahead with installing another Detonator, they should make it exactly the same as the original. If the new one was taller, it would take away the force, and a lauched tower is just of boring waste of time and money.

I was watching TMF late last night and the advert came on. Got me in the mood for a trek up to Thorpe in a few weeks!

The floor lowers so to prevent the bottoms of the seats/riders legs from crashing into the floor. Next time you stand in the queue try to see how the bottom parts of the pendulum do actually dip beneath the level of the lowering floor.

I agree with the Inline Twist; I've never been on SAW, but I think a buzzsaw underneath it positioned so to make you think your head is going to be cut off would be so much more effective.

I just got so bored I learnt how to play Samurai's ambient track that plays during the loading.

I have to agree with you there. Before my first ride at the back left, I always went to the front of the train. But just once I thought - 'Why not see what all the hype is about?', and I have to say, the 'kick' off the apex of the lift is amazing and so is the Loop. The Zero-G Roll felt like it was a different coaster altogether.

Actually if you ask me, I'd say that whole effect makes the area look incomplete, there needs to be more grass. I haven't ridden SAW so I can't comment on the ride yet.
