    LEGENDARY! :)
  2. I wasn't there yesterday, but from what Ive heard, it was a pretty big turnout, which I thought was weird considering chessington didnt put much advertising into their new area.

I didn't see any adverts really for Chessington WoA at all really. Whereas, I have seen loads for Thorpe Park.Maybe it could be a sign that word of mouth from people is sometimes the best advertising! :)I am glad Chessington WoA are doing so well so far and hope the standard of the park increases and increases! :)
  3. What was Thorpe's gate figure though? It's in comparison to the bluntly obvious difference in target market. The little kids and family who think it's huge and mega etc, love it and they queued for that long for it. It was well taken, very well presented and attains good queues and a good soaker, something which Beano lacked. Regardless of wether or not that it's a huge signature ride or something for kids to enjoy and say is actually something the park needed, is really good to see getting installed.

I have to agree with you on that Outfit.Chessington WoA has proven that it doesn't need new rides every year in order to bring in guests.Just by opening a SEA LIFE Centre increased gate figures. Now with a whole new land and a new ride - You can fully understand, theoretically, why Kobra has such a large queue as well as other attractions in the park today. This just goes to show how popular Chessington WoA is becoming again and it deserves every minute of its glory as it is a fantastic park.
  4. are any of the effects broken or removed due to "h&s" working again?

The only effects that were on when I went on Thursday was the little squirty things at the end but were squirting very little out.The wave machine was also on, but I don't really consider that as an effect on Rumba Rapids personally.I did find though that we got a lot more wet on the ride though!
  5. Got to go on Kobra yesterday after work and it is overall a really good ride.I didn't like the major spinning part at first but then as you move, you don't feel as if you are spinning. :lol:It is such a weird feeling as you go over the airtime hill in the middle as you are waiting to drop back down!Overall, it is very good and quite a long ride.I could see that the queue line was very well themed as well. :angry:The only bad thing I can think of is the restraints that come up from behind that wack your back!

  6. I'm glad you brought up Rumba Mike.I was very surprised at how much water was actually getting into the boat on Sunday. It was good, and made the ride alot more enjoyable.

Having a full boat made all of us drenched! Then again, 5 re-rides as well as other water rides = a wet arse :angry:And Mikey - Stop with the Granny! If you like them that much, go ****one :rolleyes:
  7. In all honesty, I was offered to Go, but couldn't because of college.Contrary to my posts above, I do wish I had skipped College too. Although I'm not at the GCSE stage, so it wouldn't have mattered to miss a day.Roll On Sunday!

If anything, it is more essential that you dont miss college due to A levels being harder and more important than GCSE's.... Whoopsey! :angry:Oh wells, see you guys again Sunday! :)
  8. Am I the only one who had the normal dream about coasters? :):D

I have dreams before where I am with friends out at theme parks :rolleyes:They are usually Vampire, Colossus, Dragon's Fury and Runaway Train if I remember correctly :P
  9. Wooo, I'm going to a Justin Beiber Concert in Omaha us in July 3rd :P cant wait!! Going to be travelling round america for 3 weeks around then too!! :D

This will make Steve - TPKabz - Very jealous indeed :)
  10. I'm sure it never used to be this bad, and it doesn't happen on Falls or the Flume (or at least not when I've been on).

It does happen on Dragon Falls. However, even when it does, it is a very small amount usually.I must say Loggers Leap is incredibly bad for the flooding of the logs. However, I am the same as you Michaela - I usually put my feet up on every drop so they do not become saturated! :)
  11. People have to remember that this ride is classified as a "junior coaster". So the height won't be 1.4 and it wont be majourly fast. It still looks amazing though! :)

X:\ No Way Out, I think, is a Junior Coaster and it has a height restriction of 1.4m...
  12. From watching that video I am majorly disappointed, doesn't look very fast, it's short and the drop doesn't seem scary at all.

Really?!Fair play it doesn't look very fast but not a lot of rides I like are :)And the drop looks quite scary to me.Shows my style of rides doesn't it :)
