Fun ride. I have a special place in my heart for this one as it was the first coaster I ever went on. I was terrified back then lol.It's hard to believe that it's the same track layout as Flying Fish. The reason why it's 100 times better than FF imo is becuase it's themed and very creative. It takes you through tunnels etc whereas Fish doesn't really do anything. Great ride!

I have to agree with everything you have said there comparing Runaway Train to Flying Fish!I love this ride so much and personally feel it has great theming!I also love how Runaway Train actually has staff using the PA instead of normal announcements as I always feel the powered coaster is a great ride for guest interaction!

I like the ride but tbh I didn't feel any airtime whatsoever. It was still fun though.

You have to be joking!For some reason, I can't ride Black Buccaneer anymore at the back and have to sit in the middle as it just affects my stomach wayyyy to much!I would hate to hear your opinion on The Blade and Mr Monkey's Banana Ride if you don't think Black Buccaneer has air time!

omg ive been on the phone to ALTON TOWERS this morning and they have said theres now FASTRACK for 13 omg so unfair I have PLATIUM fasttrack opening day and NOW I have to Q for 13 NOT happy its so unfair that I have to Q !

You said in the other topic that you spent £100 on the Platinum Fastrack mainly for Thirteen.I would reconmend that you call Alton Towers and ask that you can have them transfered to a future visit if you mainly got them for Thirteen and it isn't going to have Fastrack on that day.

(OMG posts above from me in 2008 - No capital letters for ride names, said fright nights instead of Halloween Hocus Pocus and couldn't use smileys corectly. Omg thank god I don't do that anymore! )What I was going to post...I saw some lovely effects in the Runaway Train's queue line during the last Halloween Hocus Pocus.I really hope these effects are still operational during the 2010 season as they looked very good!Also, Runaway Train has been replaced with Kobra on the Express Pass ticket.However, Runaway Train is now available on the Ultimate Express Pass ticket.

Its not bad, its pretty much the same at thorpes styled to Wild Asia, which isnt a bad thing I guess! I notice Kobra is down as having photos.. that will be interesting to see how that works / don't work.

I would say it is like Thorpe Park's too regarding the style of the page.However, Chessington' website actually looks good and 'right' compared to the TP one. - This can be seen, imo, on a variety of aspects such as the language used and the no screamy head thingys
