I am voting for monsterdan but I would like to remind you of the spelling of Nemesis.

I totally agree with everything you have just put there TP Daniel. It is one thing to appeal towards a target audience but I think the website is a joke to be honest!Deary deary me.I really don't like this site and much preferred the old one. It seemed a lot more simplistic and east to navigate. I think all of the cartoony people are repulsive and makes the site look horrible. Also I had just been listening to some music and when I went over the social bit I very nearly came of my chair!I am sorry, it just looks like they are trying to appeal to what they think of their target audience. I doubt it is aiming for the over 30's and being a teenager it certainly does not appeal to me.the reviews are pointless as well because they are all just saying how amazing the ride was. "Nemesis Inferno is a sick ride" Oh God I certainly hope not. I like that ride!
-
Well it certainly is illustrating the new Wild Asia theme!I can't wait to visit now in 2010 to see all these changes. The park seem to be putting a lot of effort in and hopefully it will pay off for them!

I agree! The Nemesis Inferno music is one of the best pieces at Thorpe Park.I don't know if it was just me, But I found the station speakers to be very quiet during the 2009 season unfortunately :(It would be nice for 2010 for it to be turned up!Also, it would be good for the speakers around the area to actually work. (As well as fixing the link between the station and the area so the area isn't playing the dispatch theme! Finally I think the music on this ride is top-notch, especially the station music because I just love the bass and the twinkly (Not the best way to describe it but oh well) music.
)The only good thing about the link failure during 2009 was for Fright Nights when the "Freeze their Souls" kept on playing. That was epic!!!

Sonic Spinball looks worse in my opinion. Those signs up make it seem like a fairground attraction to me.
-
I love it when you find people that like rides :(My friends in college know I have a passion for theme parks and they are starting to get into it! It was only the other day we were planning a trip to Alton Towers for the summer and to do a few Thorpe Park's and CWoA & Zoo.YAY!bleh
just found somebody who likes theme parks a lot in my school, well two people actually

Please can you only post if you have something referring to the topic itself.Jesus, that must have eaten up alot of time to write!

I definately agree with the points Mark made on Safari Skyway, SEALIFE and the signs around the park. For 2010, it would be nice to see:BubbleworksA lot of the audio for the ride either is very badly created and / or not played in certain areas.Griffins GalleonPersonally, I would put a sign by where staff stand on Canopy Capers indicating Griffins Galleon is down the path as a lot of guests don't even though it is there. (Plus that ride is epic!
)Seastorm, Black Buccaneer and Safari SkywayI personally would like to see electronic queue times at the entrance of these attractions. You have them on rides like Sea Dragons that I have never seen above 5 mins; so why not have on one of the more popular attractions?(Also, the LED scroll signs - Like on Vampire - This was removed from Hocus Pocus Hall ages ago. Then for Halloween Hocus Pocus, you had little laminated signs up which didn't really look professional.I would put a "88" queue sign outside its entrance). *ToytownI personally think Toytown is looking very run down and could do with a bit of attention. When you are on the Berry Bouncers, you have 2 Bose speakers under the control panel yet you can't heard the audio... erm... why!Chessington ZooMaybe it is just me being blind, but I think there should be more clearer information regards show times. Also, I am quite known I think now for always adding the "& Zoo".If this is seriously going to continue for the 2010 season then I think it should actually be advertised more as "& Zoo" and not just in the name.(Don't hate me
)I would be happy for it to go to "Chessington " but I do think the "& Zoo" is good emphasis for Chessington being known for its Zoo and its Zoo and SEALIFE dates on selected days. But if the "& Zoo" is not going to be consistant, then get rid of it. - Although, obviously I do like it
Safari SkywayAs well as Mark's comments above - I personally think the audio used on the ride should be on all the trains.Trail of the KingsGive the lions, leapords and tigers some form of entertainment to keep there brains stimulated! They look bored sh**less! That is all I can think of at the moment!
* Just so we are clear - 88 queue boards = Sea Dragons, Griffins Galleon etc.LED scroll = Vampire, Dragon's Fury, Dragon Falls etc.

Good luck Mark!Just remember that doors close 30 seconds prior to departureI've got a further interview for Southern on Monday.. As my assesment went so well last friday I have a small amount of confidence this time as opposed to my assesment where I couldn't sleep.Have to say, very excited about this, I haven't had a proper permanent job for three years now.
:(Ahhhh good old Southern trains!

Rush is too short in my opinion! No where near too long!
-
There is something very satisfying about it I must admit!Love the sound of Nemesis Inferno leaving the station (clunk, clunk, clunk) and also the music played in the NI station.

-
I think the word "Ewwwww" covers this nicely!
-
-
I hate you! :(I only went on Black Buccaneer again for you :(I could of went on Vampire instead and actually enjoyed it!Anyways - to stick on topic...Rush is nothing like a pirate ship and you won't be having faces as if you are about to puke! What a hilarious sight that is though!
-
I agree with you there Chris.Rush is nothing like a pirate ship style ride.I also can't do Black Buccaneer unless I am in the centre :(Rush is amazing and is worth a ride! You should go on rush, I don't like Mr Monkeys,Black Buccaneer, Blade or whatever swinging boat you find. They really make me feel sick, however Rush feels nothing like a boat.

Because one is clearly better than the other! It's things like that which make me wonder why I ever stayed at Chessington for 5 years...
-
I'd be like "OMG Who is that?!" - But in a positive way obviouslyI had the 2006 announcement as my ringtone and it went off when I was in the queue for Colossus and people were like

Be nice Rich! :)Colossus is amazing in all its gloryI HATE all the sounds of Colossus full stop! It's just a metal rust bucket!
