  1. As people have said...The water should be red, if getting riders wet, as it is more realistic.I think, without the water being red, it takes away the whole effect it is supposed to give.Anyone got any red dye?

At Chessington & Zoo, you have 4 areas. You are on the rides that are in your percific area.As TPDan said about THORPE PARK. It is usually the rides you are trained on.e.g. Some members of staff are cross trained etc.
  7. I sat in the middle on the 30th August and I did not get wet at all! (The body water feature was in operation though).
  8. I agree with you Paul. (Although I am more of a Rodger the Dodgers Dodgems guy myself )If Beanoland is closed, I am not really bothered.I am therefore really excited for the 2010 season to see it up front how the "Future Beanoland" will look!

I personally think it is good how the seating is done on Vampire. To be fair, If there is no Disabled or Exit Pass Holders, and Vampire is on a 2 train operation, You are allowed 6 through the 3rd to back gate! Also, Another way to look at it is that if you were Disabled; Would you like to be struggling down the platform? If they can be put onto the back with as little stress as possible, then I definately approve of the current system on Vampire.
  10. I hate the smell of Loggers Leap. Mainly because it smells! :PWhereas, Dragon Falls I could smell all day. It smells and looks clean! Sorry for the weird post!

Probably to save time.If the Ride Host was arguing with someone in the Exit Pass Queue and the gates were still open. They probably thought it was easier and more benefitial (sp?) to fill another two seats to try and reduce the queuing time. This way, the normal queue is being reduced, and the ride host is still having a debate with the exit pass person!

Not that I don't belive you, but there can't have been. That is why the back two rows are closed off for! :)Could have been a new Ride Host still in training, who forgot to do the Exit Pass people.

  24. I am glad I can still hear the amazing ROAR of Colossus!I agree with Tim, Colossus does not vibrate as much as it used to.You say Colossus still hurts on the Cobra Roll;Am I the only one that Colossus did not hurt before the changes were made on the ride?! :)On my last visit to Thorpe, Colossus was running all day without stopping on the lift hill once!Glad to see it is running smoothly!
  25. I am also from East Sussex. It will take about 3 hours drive to Alton Towers won't it?Lets hope traffic is on your side.Last time I went, it took me 6 hours as there was an accident on the M25 and major roadworks on the M1.I could be nice not going straight to the park, if you are the driver, so then you can have a break.(Even if it is just 15 minutes away! )If you are an Annual Pass Holder, on boooking online, I would definately go for ERT!Have a great day and I hope All Rides and Attractions are available for you on the day!
