  1. James, you are one Amity freak.
  2. This is the topic to rant about anything that's bothering you - just get it off your chest right here, no matter what it's about!MODS: Would it be possible to pin this topic?OK, so I'll start - road signs. Everywhere I go, I see road signs that are twisted, wonky, fading or just not lit up well. And some are badly positioned! A lot of them definately need to be replaced.
  3. normal cokeSamsung Omnia or iPhone?

A lot of people forget that Nemesis has 8 rows of seats, whereas Inferno has only 7.
  5. It's been around for just over 10 years - yeah, Alton's Black hole of Calcutta really is losing it's magic. Blimey.
  6. When does the Skips sponsorhip end on Dragon's Fury? It's in its 5th year now.
  7. Screamin'back or front for most rollercoasters?
  8. Well yes, that's what I meant, but I wrote it wrongly. And you call Nemesis Inferno fiery? The fiery thing about it are the red lights in the tunnel, and that's wet inside there!
  9. For f**k sake, don't they ever give up? What's been wrong with it?
  10. I might have spotted these. They're smart. Are they located either side of the loading platform?

For those who don't realise it, the CCTV cameras in the X:\ queueline are fake. One big giveaway is they have a flashing red light on them. I found this out last year when a couple of idiots managed to open up one of the fire exits and sneak their way into the queue. After a few confrontations, security were called and they kicked them out. Also, you cannot fail to notice security gaurds constantly walking around the park. The guy who wears the turban is the best, not to mention a good laugh. Anyone know who I'm talking about? He's about 30. No - but the battery is nowhere to be seen lately in X:\. Nope. I ain't being rude.
  12. Big Brother (X Factor if you like Cheryl Cole )DVD or Blueray DVD?
  13. The parts that are bloody closed!
  14. I have failed to notice those, but I will have a look next time I go. Also, it's sometimes impossible to hear the Samurai loading music. I can hear the Colossus theme easily from Samurai's queueline.
  15. Well as far as I'm aware X:\ was a first. Perhaps they should drop the "in the dark" effect and spice it up even more?I dunno, I really don't. Thorpe have almost got it all, what with Stealth's height and speed, and Colossus being the world's first to loop-the-loop. They are running out of ideas.

I never implied you were stupid.
  17. Yeah, it's the best tune(s) for Sam.I noticed when Rush was closed after the accident it still had the queueline music with announcements playing.
  18. I've never known it to do that. Which rock, any paticular rock on any particular part of the ride? I think the ride was installed by the Pearson Group, and is an original ride from when the first park opened - am I right?
  19. myspacegreasy spoon or Wetherspoon?
  20. Ooh - I've been told. :angry:Do people not realise how much potential there is in the areas ocuppied by the beach, Depth Charge, the slimy Octopus Gardens, X:\ and the arena? Obviously not. Because if Thorpe or Tussauds had realised it before Merlin took over, they'd have done something about it.Oh and Holly? I wasn't complaining. Thorpe has issues - big ones, and upgrading the kiddies area and improving it, or possibly even moving it is one of them.
  21. Usually throughout the year I get to the park between 9:30am and 10:30am for the day, but when it comes to Fright Nites and Thorpe Blast, I usually get there between 1:00pm and 3:00pm to shorten the day slightly. 12 hours (10 til 10) is tiring and long when you don't stop riding.

I first rode it in 2005 - so let's say it's the best in recent years then. Also, Thorpe's skyline has changed with Stealth.
  23. EasyjetBig huge pretzels or tiny bagful of pretzels?
  24. Come back another time? Just gone at a bad time?Nothing has bloody changed in the Food For Thought exhibition for years whilst it's remained closed, and Digitopolis is heading that way too, and fast.So no, I didn't go at a bad time.
  25. Oh yeah, I did say that. :angry:And you know what I'm getting at anyway.
