  1. Does anyone actually know what part Fury is waiting for?. Even when it will be back
  2. Reliabillity is great. I suppose it shows how much I've been to Chessington, only rides I've not seen down are the Beano Land ones. Hope vampire's back soon!. It's a great ride
  3. It was all over the entrance boards at Chessington, and again at the entrance to Land of the dragons. So it beats me why the website does not show it. Also, the cars were not in the station, but all stacked up as if they were getting worked on. The lady at guest services hoped the part would arive soon
  4. Does anyone know the names of the music tracks used in the Animal Antics show?. Thanks
  5. It's about time that got rethemed. Really don't see the point of going on it.Great idea about the quiditch simulator though the idea of a simulator's good enough for me.
  6. Dragons fury was closed all day today. Apparently it's waiting for a new part to come down from Alton towers, but as yet I am not sure of which part it is or when that will be.
  7. When I went last year, I can't recall seeing many people. Actually, if I remember right, 1 part of the night was actually quite quiet
  8. You used to be able too, back in the early 90's. They changed the atraction round though, I think mainly to prevent so many people in one section. I remember going when I was like 11 or 12, people just went back to do stuff time and time again. Now if you want to do it just go back to the exit and go again. I think the more times you do it the better it gets anyway.

  12. Thoughts from Sunscreen today. Loved the stunt show in the arina, in fact saw it twice. Didon't really like the music they chose while you were waiting for the show to start, they could have at least picked songs to get the crowd singging along and not deafening everyone. Best music for me was by the entrance, Beyonce and Pitbull, 2 choices I think were really good.Nice to see WWTP turned up in full force. What's the worst that could happen was okay, though I think more care could have been taken over letting the park guests participate. It was not until we sat down to watch the show, we realised we couldn't take part. Show itself was good, good challenges and nice choice of prizes.Good to see all the rides open. Saw a couple of breakdowns earlier on in the day, but they were soon sorted.Free Doctor Pepper is a brilliant idea, I've not had that for ages and it was a nice little promotion.Crouds were high, aded an atmosphere to the whole day.All in all, nice experience and I'm hoping they do it next year
  13. Awsome atractions, really like the idea of the falls and the floorless coaster.

Have fun, sleepovers are usually really cool. Been a while since I've been to one though, fave part for me is all the staying up late in to the night.
  15. I always thought for theme parks there would be some sort of backup generator, so if the power does go off they have emergency electricity. I was proved wrong earlier though when I heard about the Chessington powercut. As for emergency lighting, yes. you would have thought so. Maybe for rides like Toom Blaster they don't bother, because you'd be able to see the light from the outside. The rides such as Hocus Pocus hall though, they must have candles at least.
  16. Well, if I ever get a chance to make a park like that, I'll invite you to come. For now though, I guess sticking to thorpe is wise
  17. Evacuating Toomb Blaster would be so cool. I'd love if when you evacuated you heard sirens and the Critical error detected from the X no way out station, that would really set the sceen.
  18. My theme park would be set in the future and the atractions would be heavily themed, too.I'd have a ride based on the 4 elaments, kind of like Valhalla at Blackpool pleasure beach. In each section of the ride you would feel like you are truly being burnt, or in the water section, really cold and wet. I would also have a Toom blaster ride themed around the James bond movies, and inside you will feel like you are bond and the rides do daring stunts etc which you control with a console at the front of the ride. My rollercoaster would be a Runaway train, X No Way Out, Dragons Fury stuck together. You enter this really dark cave that looks like it's set in the middle of Africa. There's a huge dragon blocking your path to the boarding platform, breaving fire at you while making the whole ground shake and burn up. You board the ride after several minits, and you start on the fastest journey through the caves ever. During the ride, you encounter a much bigger dragon which attempts to stop your progress, and the whole ride is flooded with flames. At that point, the ride tips to give you the feeling that you are going to fall out. Suddenly, it tips right over and you are face to face with the dragon. He says a few words, then asks you to find something for him. If you find it, you are allowed back to the station. You have to enter a code on a console in front of you, and if it's correct you start on a fast bakwards ride to the station. If it's wrong, the ride ends and a member of staff has to collect you to walk you back to the station.I'd have a stunt show based around the legend of Hercules. The show would take the well known legend, and with audience help bring it to life and to the future. Members of the audience will be asked to help Hercules in a variety of tasks. Then, I'd have my Haunted house. It would be a Haunted mantion / hocus pocus hall ride through. You first watch a show featuring ghosts and following the story of what you will see on the ride. After the door opens, you board your train and off you go. As well as ghosts coming in to your train, you will see Sceens from Hocus pocus Hall, and the music will be the soundtracks of both rides remixed. Then I'd have my Log Floom, based around hot and cold. At each drop, you will be sprayed with a diffrent style of water, starting off really cold and then on the final drop flaming hot. The final drop would be the same as Ripsaw falls in IOA, and the other drops will be like little splashes.I'd have a railway that goes around the park stopping at diffrent sections to let people on and off, a couple of eating places and events through out the year.My entrance music would be soundtracks from my fave movies, ET, Star wars, Indiana jones, James bond and harry potter all looped
  19. I'd love to do a ride evac, really I would. It will be fun.As for the power, I bet Chessington took all the rides back to the main station and started from there
  20. It says on the website CCR is still down. Wonder what's wrong with it

People with motion sickness, I suppose. I don't understand what you mean by it never moves, it's always going
  22. I was just about to mention that. It was news on my local radio station. I wonder what's caused all this power outage? It must have been scary to be there, mainly if you were stuck on the rides but at least the Chessington staff got everyone out as quick as they could. I think the worst situations (or where I'd be most scared) is either in the middle of Hocus Pocus hall or at the top of the final hill on Dragon Falls, just before the drop
  23. Wow, that's really not good at all. Hope everyone will be okay eventually.Do keep us updated if anything becomes news
