Park Map
That is such an over exaggeration and generalisation. I too am a young person and young people such as myself would not be appealed by the in your face map. For example, I'm going next Saturday - I'm taking someone, same age as me and you, who hasn't been to the park since she was 4. She hasn't been to a theme park since she was 10. When I showed her the map today, she absolutely hated it. In fact, the first thing she said was "I'm glad I'm going with you or else I'd get lost." Granted, that may be a bit of an exaggeration - but still, it fails its objective of a MAP. I showed a few other friends as well, and their genera opinion was dislike as well. We are all young people and are not appealed by the in your face map that has been set. In the end, each to their own and all that - but just remember not all young people are appealed to such ideas.

Park Map
^No repainting for those rides as far as I know.I too hate the map. The rides look awful and negotiating around the park will be hard for first timers. It just looks horrific. On a plus note, I like how they've got the Vicar of Thorpe still Christening Stealth - obviously they're planning on bad luck this season.

Colossus
^That's only 8 inversions. XD

Colossus
Intamin do offer a 12 inversion style as well. Imagine what that would be like....

Are You Obsessed With THORPE PARK?
I would not say I'm obsessed with Thorpe Park. However, I would say I am extremely interested in theme parks (some may call it obsessed - by everyone has their own definition and to what degree). It's just coincidental that TP is the one I knot most of because I live very close to it. Closed Season is always bad for me. As 'theme parking' is my main hobby (probably me only hobby ), I get moody at times during the CS. This season has been slightly worse as I've had to readjust to March openings.

MTDP
SAW was not supposed to be ready for 2008. Nothing was 'supposed' to be ready. The previous MTDP stated they were thinking about an 08 coaster. Even then, everything was probably messed up a bit after the Merlin takeover. Inferno and Colossus were added when the park was still seen as a 'family park'. Tussuads had clear intentions of where they wanted to take the park, and had the finances to do so. Therefore, they were able to add 2 coasters in 2 years to catapult them with the big guns.

Th13teen
When I first saw, I hated it. Then it has just grown and grown and grown on me. :PWas more interested in seeing something more related to the Wraiths, but I'm sure that will come in due time.

The Challenge #6
Well, not now as James6 isn't online. :DThough I can't speak for James personally, he'll probably post a new one this week or next week. I gave him a few ideas yesterday and he may need a bit of time to sort it all out.

Err yeah, I've posted in the 'Closed Season 2009' topic twice now, and my post still hasn't shown up. There's nothing saying anything's gone wrong. Can anyone actually see my post?

Conspiracy Theories
Only a little teaser though. :DIt mentions about many coincidences between Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln. Some may so that 'coincidences' are just that - but there are so many it really makes you think. The assembly we had about it was very interesting; the slideshow really helps explain everything.

Conspiracy Theories
Err, so?Anyways, I do have a nice slideshow at school that a teacher gave me about a JFK theory. I'll get it on Monday when I go back to school, very interesting stuff.

Rant
Thankfully, I'm in the situation now where most of my teachers can actually teach. More just the fact there's one teacher who has enough respect for us to get things done. Like last year, we had a teacher who couldn't teach us. We complained to the her, asking if she could try things we prefer. That didn't work. Went to head of Science. That didn't work. Went to this teacher, she got it sorted and we've got a new teacher this year. However, I wouldn't be surprised if loads of people in my year don't get their best possible grades. Loads of the teachers aren't that good and last year was even worse. As I said, thankfully I'm not in that situation. (And if I'm honest, I admire you for reading all of that - I did babble on a bit. )

Rant
Right, time for a rant about practically everything.Firstly, school. As I've said before, French at my school is a shambles. I've tried resolving it with my teacher, but she's too stubborn to take on board our comments. So, I told the headteacher, hoping he might be able to resolve things and calm down the bad atmosphere we have. But when he talks to her, she takes it as a personal insult and it does nothing. And apparently I should have talked to her instead of going above her head, which I tried. So basically, she keeps getting the wrong end of the stick. Don't get me wrong, she's a nice person, just not a good teacher. Then, there's people. There's someone who I don't like at school. Though he has never done anything to me, he is a rude guy who is incredibly annoying and has done stuff to my friends. Yet he seems to think we are best friends. So when I say that I don't want to talk to him, he takes great offence and thinks that I've broken the friendship we had. In the end, I don't want nothing to do with him, yet he does. And he never seems to get the idea. Then, there's someone else at school as well. Last year, she was one of my best friends. Ever since 2010 started, she's tried eradicated me from her life. If I breath next to her, I'm doing something wrong. I regularly get told by her "Shut up. You're annoying me, f*ck off." In fact, yesterday, I was having a conversation with a mutual friend of her and me, and when she arrived, the first thing she said was "f*ck off, you're getting on my nerves." Yet she asks me over MSN constantly if there's any homework due or stuff like that. She's smart enough to know, and she makes it quite clear she doesn't like me, yet she still asks me for everything. And then when I say no, I get told to either "cheer up or f*ck off." Oh, and apparently because she got better marks on one essay in English, she now feels she's better than me at everything and I should see her for tutoring. Perhaps I should see the site she copies her essays from instead...Continuing on from that, people just seem to like using me. I regularly get asked "Because you're the smartest person I know, can you help me with..." Doesn't matter what I'm doing, my MSN status could be set to 'Busy', I could be there reading or writing an essay, but still, I've seemingly got to help someone who I barely speak to just because I'm smart. THEN, there's the arrogant heap of (god, I wish I actually swore). Because he's got a place at a Private School, he thinks he's perfect and above us and all that (I'm sure I've mentioned this on here before). A couple of days ago, he was asking me if I was gay. I said no. He then replied "Oh, so that means you only act gay... Ah, I understand now. So you act gay to befriend girls so you can hit on them. Makes sense now." Now apparently he meant it as a joke - but seriously, how am I meant to take that as a joke. Especially when he says it so seriously. (No offence is meant to gays there, but I hope people understand where I was coming from there). On top of all of that, there's just the general stress of school with GCSEs coming up and all the revision which is coming into full swing now. ARGH!
