The only thing they cocked up on was being understaffed they weren't expect 13000 people to turn up!

In saying that I do remember speedy service there!

Didn't realise you had posted haha wasn't aimed at anyone, just my own opinion whilst quality is good at merlin establishments, I've always found service quite tediously slow

What's wrong with Burger King? Like Marc said you wait 20 minutes at a hot dog stand (apparently putting a hot dog in a bun is very complicated) or you go to Burger King where the staff are fighting to serve you, and you have your food within minutes of entering the establishment.

What would be the point in doing an annual pass day when EVERYONE moaned about the last one? I'm in no doubt whatsoever that another annual pass day would turn out the same.

Did you know that every merlin park has it's own on-site H&S team? And that when you say they would be in trouble, they would only be in trouble with themselves unless whoever was involved took it further which usually they don't as Merlin (a very big corporation) would just pay them off to keep quite. So in essence you don't know what you are talking about when it comes to H&S. Merlin Entertainments as a company have a HQ H&S team which work with separate parks H&S team which spend every minute of every day reviewing situations and possible outcomes of circumstances. When they feel something is unsafe they remove it long before it happens. Take Stealth queue-line last year, someone reported that part of the fencing had collapsed and by the next morning hey presto the queue had been fixed. I'm not sure if you know this but, accidents are Merlin Theme Parks are EXCEEDINGLY rare, the rate of which I believe is even lower than Disney. To sum up the above, H&S are always investigating and when they think something could happen they stop it before it does. Moving on to Loggers Leap.

It's quite hysterical the track won't even be completed for February half term!

My point was mainly the fact that next to nothing has been done in over a month now it seems?

I swear every photo they have taken so far they have hidden the fact that's all they've got at the moment.

2013 Changes
It must of changed, I spent some many hours in there last year and all there was was some spray paint staines on the floor with bits tape and stray litter here and there

The Smiler
Horrah they have done nothing else since the last update a month ago.

I do wonder where it will be, I would imagine it being 5th row, only because its the furthest back that would be comfortable enough for a disabled guest to exit the ride during a lift evac. Presumably if there were a disabled guest on the lift during an evac they would be tended to first! *presumably*

I find TP's PH dire, it's either under cooker or overcooked. You can tell the difference because all the ones in the highstreet take time whereas TP they just throw it in a pan throw cheese on whip it in the oven in less than 2 minutes!

Okay the park have a strong disabled policy and all major attraction's have designated seats for disabled guests who must adhere to the rules as well as staff. No Likey No Ridey. Generally you would sit at the back of the trains on coasters so you have the least length to walk whether it be on a brake run cat walk or down the steep lift stairs. Whoever let you on the trains wherever you wanted is an idiot who doesn't value your safety and comfort.

The park will likely be keeping it until enough is enough, after numerous weeks/months of downtime I wouldn't think the park will want to damage their integrity by opening rides that could potentially (Noted, previous encounters of have been seen to before opening) cause H&S violations. If & when another crack appears I strongly believe the park will say this is the end. It's one thing that it happened once in the first place but numerous times in consecutive years is actually somewhat traumatising.

You really do appreciate the sheer size of the coaster! The first pylon thing is up now!
