I think guest interaction between younger guests and staff is a must at a theme park such as Thorpe; because it's a park with a different target audience, parts of the park need to be designated for children, I think they need to capatilise on the space OG has. Maybe if they had something like Dragons Playhouse at Chessington in OG, then there would be a lot more for kids to do. I really did like the idea of chalk drawing on Saturday, priceless fun for kiddies!

More guest interaction, I believe it is park policy to put more 'child friendly' people in staffing area Experience to create the magic moments for the kiddies.

I fully agree with Marc and I am going to back my argument up; on opening day this year, I was talking to Steve, Rob and his friend, and I said that I was on CoasterForce and Towers Times Forum, and they instantly gave me dirty looks. The next day at the gate (yesterday) they where hassling members of staff at the gate, and where pushing like children. I pride myself on having an open mind to every new person, but when I see these members of certain forums, they are tarnishing their reputation. Being on plenty of forums, you can see that the forum rivalry is too large. You quite rightly said whiteknuckle on MSN to me that ;we are all here to enjoy coasters not to bitch'. Your right, but sometimes you do slant towards RCCGB when some of their members have done something wrong. I am not at all having a go at RCCGB as I am fully against stereotyping, but as I said, when members act like children, it tarnishes their clubs reputation. Nearly everyone on CF takes a heavy dislike to me, but I will still say hi if I recognize people. Same with Southparks. For example, I said hi to Scarlet (ex det_freak), and said hi to AJ, but I got the evils from everyone in CF who overheard who I was. I am not afraid to ruffle feathers if it's for the right reasons, because forum rivalry pisses me off to the extreme, there is no need for it if it';s stupid reasons like 'OMG YOUR ON ANOTHER FORUM TO ME SO I'LL BITCH!!1111111ONEONE'.

I won't bother with a trip report but I agree with Mark about it getting a tad boring now, I don't think enough has changed for the right, but it was really good seeing things like repainted Stealth theming, Inferno mental amount of mist, and the Tidal Splashpool.And RCCGB members pushing. I really think they are dirtying my opinion of them, after ruining their reputation with a lot of other people. IMO, I have had enough of the forum rivalry, especially when I got dirty looks from two RCCGB members after mentioning I was on TTF and Coasterforce.

WWTP Radio Amity Cove is now playing there until Big Bob takes over when Ride Start is pressed in the console, and when the 'Ride End' is pressed, the annncement is played and then esentially the loading music is WWTP Radio Amity Cove.

The thuds weren't actually from the station Marc, there was a rather large bass bin under the entrance arch thingy, hence where to bass was from. WWTP/Stealthside audio system really needs to get fixed, the photos unit has one blaring really loudly, and the one next to you as the main queueline divides into main queue and front row, way too loud.

Woo Nandos was great fun! Pity park was a tad boring, but I as first Stealth rider of 2008 Front Row :oCheers duuudes/dudettes/non gender specific people!

I think we're meeting at midday Elementist! Welcome to the forums TF, again, nice to see another member from another forum posting on TPM! :PThere are various ways to get to Thorpe, I believe if you are coming from Wimbledon you need to get a train to Clapham Junction, then get a train towards Reading (or Windsor or and Eton Riverside) and leave the train at Staines. The 950 express bus to Thorpe leaves from outside the London Waterloo direction side platform, where the main station building and coffee bar is located. Simply cross the bridge, over the track, and then the bus should be directly in front of you. The bus costs £2 for this early part of the season. Trains leave Clapham and Wimbledon every half an hour in each direction.Everyone who has a Tussauds/Merlin Annual Pass must get their pass reprinted at the Annual Pass office on opening day; your current pass will not work on the turnstiles. The reprint will be free
