I studied in College and I am one of the people who just found it wasn't for me. I slogged out some really boring jobs to get the money to pay for rent etc. But it was always better than college. And there was of course, and still is the choice to go back to study later on in life if I feel that is something I wish to do. I don't see the point in further education unless you are certain on what you would like to do, and you know that it needs a degree or the relevant qualifications (ie, doctor).

Reminds me of when I read the daily mail once...

I fell asleep in a couple of my exams including maths. Teachers used to enter me for the higher teir papers when it was obvious I couldn't pass them. Maths was a disaster.

Not a great idea to be honest. Due to the throughput of the ride I could imagine that this highly increases the likelyhood of thefts that would occur from a storage box at the ride. Also, where would it go? If it was placed on the on-load platform it would be difficult to get your bags after the ride, and vice-versa. Can always use the Lockers.

Guest Services is simply there to "Re-instate the magic that has been lost in peoples visit" alot of the time it does manage to do so, alot of the time (more so) it unfortunately gets abused by people. Sometimes, ride enthusiasts do this.I used to work in Guest Services (Not at Thorpe Park) and it genuinly dissapointed me when people would try to gain Exit Passes / Disabled Passes infront of those who geniuinly needed and deserved to have these benefits. The park, is not at all obliged to give any compensation / exit passes / disabled passes and guest services does not HAVE to be there. The department is there for the benefits of the guests.

Been saying this for years, and years , and years. It did get a bit of stuff done to it in 2007 ish. New music, lights, paint, videos... it was good. Lasted all of 2 months before it was vandalised. I think X's time is up, it will be replaced soon. Have room for a couple of things there.
