Open until the 24th hour?

^Well they could have marketed Ratatouille as the world's first X but instead went with the sensible option of saying it's based on Ratatouille. By this you mean non-shouty?

In response to the clones stuff: I would prefer to see unique stuff at every park in a chain, Disney included. Their recent installations in Asia and Rat in Paris hopefully indicate that this is the case. Shanghai will have Tron instead of Space Mountain and Hong Kong has Grizzly rather than Thunder Mountain. I can understand why screen based stuff is cloned. Costs are significantly lower when you can just load up the footage. Disney also have the problem that the average person immediately thinks of the 'main park' and the rides at those parks when you say you went. When you say you went to a Merlin park, people would probably say "what" rather than "oh did you go the vertical drop coaster?" The other issue is that this is going to be marketed as the a 'cutting edge' thrill ride when it's predecessor opened 17 years ago. It's one of the reasons I roll my eyes when people clamber for Splash to be cloned in Paris. Technically only one of the Towers is cloned.

It's called Black Hole because it's going to disappear from everyone's mind about it in a year.

Well only 1 person from each vehicle would be able to reride so...

Yeah there have even been claims that those trains have already been tested ages ago but who knows. Mission 2 has its upsides like the upgraded launch and the wormhole.
-
I'm interested to see what happens with Space Mountain. Mission 1 to 2 was done in 3 months and the rumours flying around for years now have suggested everything from no noticeable changes to completely new trains, story or even reverting back to Mission 1. New trains were hinted at for Mission 2 in 2005 and pretty much ever since so I'm not holding my breath. Everyone who hasn't already watched this should do so.

1. Land > World > DLP 2. I don't understand collecting most theme park merch (except Tom's SFMM Bizarro Shot Glass. Next Level). I'd rather save the money and visit more parks. 3. People reciting ride/show stuff over dialogue stuff actually sucks. Haunted Mansion is the worst offender for this. There are exceptions, such as the Twilight Zone sign off. 4. Everest has one of the best queues ever but the actual pacing of the coaster is pretty bad. 5. I don't understand how Disney can make Indy so good and Dinosaur so average. They are almost identical in terms of layout. 6. The fairy tale ride at Liseberg it pretty lifechanging. Maybe better than Peter Pan. 7. I miss old Test Track.

So how do you feel about Hex? Tower of Terror? Indiana Jones? Forbidden Journey? Would you enjoy Hex more if there was not a screen based pre-show? Do you prefer when you can skip through queue videos or are forced to watch them? I see very little correlation with the IPs used and the ride quality normally. I'm not bothered about Cars or Terminator but I really enjoy their attractions. I like Toy Story but I'm ambivalent about Midway Mania and dislike Buzz. Good IP based attractions will fuel interest in the franchise rather than only appealing to fans.

The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman
Deleted Users replied to Kerfuffle's topic in International Attractions
I never went on the original and didn't realise the difference in quality was so large. The new HD version makes the old version look prehistoric. Every scene was completely re-animated. I rank Spiderman over Potter because I think the effects mesh together way better (and it doesn't make me nauseous). -
No doubt RnR is better but I'm not calling it a dark ride. Oh yeah I try to forget about that thing.
-
Except French RnR is just a larger X setup and the Floridian one has UV cutouts. Apart from the kiddie coasters it's basically the least inspired of all the Disney coasters.
-
Was this one better? I'm not sure.

Oh my god you stole my post 0/10 for that

Thanks Josh. Don't expect another game for a while. One thing that I think would improve games massively is removing flavour or at least hiding it until the flips. A lot of chat this game was just "random comment about my character" that allowed the mafia to just lie.

People still fell for the "let's tell each other our roles in a vague way" thing again. ^Tables of actions for those interested.
