Quick question- I'm planning on getting either an Ipod Classic or an Ipod tounch n am having a hard time choosing which one. Whilst the classic has more space for songs, 40 Gb, and the touch only has about 8 Gb space, there is also the fact that the touch incldes features that the classic doesnt such as the Internet, it also has a bigger screen. Just interestd in knowing what people here ould go for?

Queue Times
wow there some pretty long queues! Tbh I've never queued for a ride for over an hour... I think. Unless its my first time on a ride, I wouldn't queue for too long. I suppose I usually visit on sundays which aren't ever too bad. During the fright night period I did see many rides quese extending the entrance, and the mazes were pretty long too! But fright night is never expected to be quiet.210 mins for Colossus? I'm sorry that is just ridiculous!

Is Alton Still Going To Be No.1 In 5 Years Time?
Tbh I think alton definetely has the potential to remain the no1 theme park. As people say thorpe, chessington and alton are all great in their own individual ways. Alton stands no1 because it has many family rides which are very well themed such as Chessington, but it also caters for thrill seekers with some of the UK's if not the worlds top coasters. It seems like a while since a thrill ride arrived at alton so would be nice to see another thrill ride on the way.

And a few flats A mini log flume I believe. There was one ride there which I heard was great fun but was closed when I went. Very costly though! Anyway have fun anyway! got some great restaurants!

You Know You're A Fanperson When...
You know your a fanperson when on the bus you hear people talking about how their gonna ride a certain ride first or something and you correct them in telling them that the ride their on about is currently closed. Also when you spend half an hour telling someone what a certain ride is and what it does when their looking at the unavailbe rides on the notice board and they say- " ohh stealth is closed, which ones stealth?"

Chessington Trip Reports
Took my 1st trip of season to chessington last sunday (posting a bit late). In general it was a great day, park was completely dead all day even though it did look busyish from the amount of cars in the car park. It was quite funny seeing the black buccaneer ops having a good old chat as the ride seemed to be deserted for the majority of the day. Longest queue was about 10 mins for dragons fury. The rest were pretty much walk on. Bubbleworks and Dragon falls were down all day. Good to see the park in good condition and enjoyed my look around the sea life, which was pretty good, especcialy the tunnel walk through. From what I could see not much else had changed around the park, the odd bit of themeing here n there. And the new burger king which is looking nice, I like the vampire style shaped chairs ( can't remember if they were there last season). Arrived at the park at about 11:30 ish...Ride Count-Seastorm- 1Vampire- 4Dragons Fury- 4Peeking Heights- 1Ramesis Revenge- 2Runaway Train- 1Rattlesnake- 2Sea Life- (not a ride but what the heck)So tbh I could have got on more but it was fine just taking some videos and shots and rly just wondering the park. So in general a good day, maybe it'll be nicer visiting when the weather warms up.

Thorpe Park Trip Reports
Good to hear countdown return! Is this just the countdown return or has the 2006 music returned to?

Chessington General Discussion
Personally think this new ad is great! Shows the park to have some thrilling and family rides and gives a great view of the new sea life centre. Think it will definetely appeal to the public and shows chessington to be a park full of different attractions and things to do. Didn't think their old ad was any good so its nice to have something new and original.

Dragon Falls
The main chessington watre ride discuss here! I personally think its a great ride with good themeing, its a good length ride and is a lot of fun.

Park Music
sorry guys I'm a bit late, so this is the 2006 music return? o great! I really missed that music last year, creates a very strong and intense atmosphere. Great music, I wasn't not a fan of the last year music, it definetely had its advantages such as the catchy tune. But it didn't stand up to 2006 music.

Air
I've been to alton towers 3 times since the opening of air. I've only seen air on very busy days but I suppose thats down to the fact that the first two times I visited were airs openeing year where I heard the q was extremely long , but luckuly I had fast pass. The 3rd time was on a school trip a few years ago and school trips before the summer are always packed. Shame the air reliability aint to good from what I've seen. But the time that I did get on air I remember feeling as if it were a really smooth ride and a lot of fun. May not be one of the most thrilling in the park but it sure is fun and different to anything else I've ridden.8/10.

Thorpe Park Trip Reports
Well its been a while since ive posted on here, so though that I might as well give a post about my recent thorpe visit today I arrived at the park at around 12ish, it was slighltly busier than expected considering it was so quiet last year. I was dissapointed to see that vortex was unavailable and remained unavailable all day, not sure why. I didn't get a huge variety of rides in but rode the ones I did manage to ride a few times. I was extremely glad to see that inferno was pratically walk on all day, I managed to get 4 inferno rides which I was glad about. Inferno was running 2 trains which was rly good! Colossus as expected broke down a number of times during the day and had a longish queue when it was open so I thought that I'd skip it, thorpe obviously hadn't learnt from their past mistakes and kept Colossus on one train all day! X:NWO was also packed all day with over an hour queue. Suprisinly even quantum was fairly busy. Slammer was quiet all day, but thats notsuprising considering its high capacity and I got a go on that. Stealth wasn't too bad either, the queue didn't seem too long to me, and I got on that 4 times! It was only running 1 train but I don't think they need another one. Good to see some major works taking place, especcialy on tidal wave and rush. There's also a lot of work on the 2009 coaster taking place with vehicles, diggeres etc riding around the spot all day! Left the park at about 4:30. I was tired all the way home, and it was one hell of a crap journey with delays, train changes etc. But thats nothing to do with thorpe. So all in all a goodish day, could have been better but hopefully my next trip will be.Ride count-Stealth- 4Inferno-4Slammer-1Zodiac-1
