Vampire
I went on the back row on my second ride on Vampire, there was a queue on the other side, but the ride host made no attempt to stop us going there. It's not like I was going there because I wanted them specifically, it just happened that there were 6 people in the end loading gate, and the four in front of us left the back two seats for us! I had no idea that the back two rows were reserved.

Thorpe Park Trip Reports
Trip Report from today: Friday 04/09A good trip, although it was pretty run of the mill to be honest. Nothing happened that made the trip bad, but nothing happened that made the trip that something extra special. I can't really complain, I didn't see any breakdowns (except from one time when the queue information board in Lost City read "Rumba Rapids is currently unavailable", although everytime I walked past Rumba it was in perfect operation) and full ride availability all day. I didn't see SAW down once, which is a first for me. All of the staff were friendly, and helpful as always. I'm not going to specify any names in particular on here, although there are certain individuals that were very good, not just on this trip but have been over my last several trips this season. The queue times were bearable, although I must admit that the park was very busy compared to what I was expecting. I took the TPE for the first time today, and I've got to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the journey back. The journey there in the morning was a bit of a nightmare: it has hot, smelly, and a random stanger decided to sit on my friends lap.... But the journey on the way back to Staines Station was everything I could have hoped for. Very cool inside, we were sat right at the back, there weren't any chavs in my face, and they were playing music that I actually liked! And, we began to leave the park at 6.10pm, and I thought to myself "Oh, the queue for the bus is going to be stupidly long". Anyway, when we got to the bus station, there were three empty busses waiting to load passengers, and only 3 other people waiting to use the bus. It was so easy, and I would definitely use the bus again. But in comparison, yes, the journey to the park was a bit of a nightmare. Overall a good day, lots of good fun was had . Ride Count: (Arriving on park at 11am, Leaving at 6pm)Stealth: 2 SAW: 1Colossus: 2Nemesis Inferno: 1Detonator: 1Vortex: 1Quantum: 1X:/ No Way Out: 1Slammer: 1Rush: 2Tidal Wave: 1Logger's Leap: 18/10.One thing that did slightly ruin the day for me though, I went on lots of rides that weren't playing any announcements! This included Samurai, Rush, Slammer etc. It really took some of the atmosphere away from the rides. It may just seem like a few missing announcements, but they really did make a difference to how much I enjoyed my day.

TV programmes you hate
I completely agree. People say to me, "Why are you so fascinated by theme parks?". I don't really know how to explain, it's just that there something about them that fascinate me, "Why are you so fascinated by cars?". It's the same that I can't understand how people are so obsessed with traction control/horsepower etc. That's life though. It's great that everyone is so diverse, we just learn how to accept other peoples interests. Back on topic.... (Sorry)

Tidal Wave
Even if you wear a poncho, you won't stay completely dry. Tidal Wave is such a wet ride, that no matter what you use or how much of it you use to cover yourself up, you will still get wet.

TV programmes you hate
I agree. I don't understand why people say Jeremy Clarkson is so good/entertaining/whatever. He annoys me full stop. It's this, and the fact that I have no interest in cars whatsoever why I don't watch top gear.

Tidal Wave
I do agree, and I always go on the rides to get soaked! But I can see where some people are coming from. In the case of Tidal Wave, some people may love the thrill and feeling of the drop, but may not want to get soaked. It's the same with something like Rumba. If there is a family that wants a nice, quiet relaxing ride, but don't want to get soaked to their skin, then they may want to spend money covering up.

TV programmes you hate
Why? :(Len, seriously. You said to Jake that he was off-topic. How more of topic can you get than "I like pokemon" in a "TV Programmes you hate" topic?
-
TV programmes you hate
Len, to be fair, you were just saying "why" to everything and it's not really discussing. Tim for one already explained why he has an opinion, and you should just accept that everybody has opinions, some of which may be different from yours. Can we leave this now, and continue with the topic . Like Ryan said, it needs to stop.

If people have an opinion, just let them have an opinion, without feeling the need to question them on why it's different to yours.
