  1. I've never been myself, but looking on the website just now there seems to be some good rides there. Have a good time .
  2. It's my favourite ride in Disney, and possibly one of my classic, all time favourite attractions. Your views?
  3. Went to Disneyland Paris yesterday, so I thought I'd post a short trip report. Firstly, every ride was available during the day and I didn't see any breakdowns or delays. (Except from a minor 30 second delay with the restraints on Space Mountain). The park was very busy in general, and Main Street USA was absolutely packed from 10 o clock as usual. Even though there were so many people, the longest queue I saw all day was 30 minutes for Space Mountain. Every single member of staff I encountered was very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. I Hadn't been in so long, and had forgotten just how incredibly themed everything is - from rides to lands. I arrived at the park at 9.30am, and left at 4pm. My ride count and queue times for those rides was as follows:Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: 2 (25 mins)Phantom Manor: 1 (5 mins)Indiana Jones: 1 (5 mins)Pirates of the Caribbean: 1 (0 mins)Star Tours:1 (0 mins)Space Mountain Mission 2: 1 (20 mins)Buzz Lightyear: 1 (10 mins)Overall a fantastic day, although there wasn't anywhere near enough time to explore the park properly. In my opinion, you need at least 2 days.

Hence the reason I said "if anyone has been recently, could you tell me roughly what the queues were like". As far as I am concerned, this was a perfectly acceptable and reasonable question to ask, and if it frustrates you because you haven't been or don't work there, then don't reply to my post. Anyway, let's just move on from that now.

I don't understand what the problem with asking how busy a park is. People choose to plan their days out in different ways. Some people might be more laid backed like you and just wait and enjoy the day. Others however might want to know info like queue times etc to plan their day better, especially when they've only got 5 hours in the park and they want to get on as much as possible. And in my first post Outfit, I asked for anyone who had recently been to answer my question, so just mind your own business and don't be so damn rude.

Thanks very much Tim. Outfit, I can't see how that post was at all necessary.

Going to Disneyland Paris next friday! :)Has anyone been during the week recently? If so, what have the mid-week queues been like?

I can't imagine Thorpe Park without any music. I would have hated it.

Well, to be fair everyone is entitled to their own opinion as to whether a ride is old or not. You might think that 10 years is not old, but others might think differently.

Lol. If I was at the park when that happened, it would have been quite funny but so irritating for me!

Yes it's a nice song, with a nice sentiment behind it.
  15. There are generally more taxis on weekends, although there are usually some on weekdays. If you are doubtful, you can always call ahead and arrange for one to meet you. And yes, they can do returns.

No it doesn't apply to SAW. You can't queue separately for the front row on SAW, it is just decided by chance if you are put there or not.EDIT: themeparkmad beat me to it!
  17. Thanks very much.
  18. Could you post some estimate queue times from today please?
  19. Paul replied to humjosh's topic in General Discussion
Oh right, I didn't know you took it! I found it on the forums.

  21. A nice trip report to read, thanks for taking the time to write it. Glad you had a good day.
  22. On that report, it states that Stealth launches you 250 ft into the air. It would be nice I suppose, an extra 45 ft.
  23. Subway without a doubt.

I think it's fine where it is to be honest.

No it doesn't have a box like ThorpePark.com has, although it has the rides currently unavailable information scrolling along the top of the page.
