The Smiler
Terrifying dropS of over 100ft It simply could mean the height of the 2 main drops, or drops after inversion, added together total more than 100ft, seems the most rational explanation

Legoland
It's for the themed weekends, shame the same doesn't apply to annual pass holders But star wars is open for all the Christmas shopping days!

Alton Towers News
Strange how no nemesis sub terra, it's an indoor dark ride, surely useful for half term? When its cold
-
Park Music
The best music is on the tea cups, during the ride its the TOTT queueline audio from towers, at the end it's the dining room from TOTT. Great Fn audio this year
-
The Smiler
If alton had the bag room similar to 13, so therefore way before the station. Throughput would increase due to ease of batching within the station area.

Samurai

Scarefest vs FN Mazes
I've been to both events now and sorry Thorpe but the scarefest mazes win! TOTT is just brilliant, especially the finale, the sanctuary is very well through out and quite unique and is also very long. Carnival this year is also my favourite version (beats 2010 for sure) especially at night.

Samurai
Samurai has program settings, a usually top scan won't have this, just a manual I think. If it needs this much repair just but a new fairground model lol
-
Samurai
I think either it will be a complete refurbishment so new parts etc (maybe going back to Mondial again) or they could buy a new fairground version and install that with the better settings etc and manual.

Closed Rides
It was down all day today! Swarm, nemesis and loggers had a few problems throughout the day, and Colossus had the back cart on 1 of the trains down. Ride close was extended till 7pm

Legoland
Fairy Tale brook is not going to be removed. All rides in the area are staying! It's mainly the water and dry play areas that are effected, and of course the duplo theatre seating extension

Fright Nights 2012
If Se7en is gone, I'm guessing the old hellgate route will be refurbished for a maze, hellgate was great as you had long winding routes with holes the actors could just pop out of. If I was Thorpe id move curse into the bigger side of the beach to make it longer and have more scenes to create a better maze. We will have to wait for an announcement from Thorpe

Legoland
Bit late, and the application was on RBWM as of 21st August It's going to be good though, I had no idea that there were changing rooms to be added, that's even better
-
Legoland
On a positive note, a not so good golf course which is a payed attraction, will be replaced by a free water area
-
Legoland Trip Reports
Work experience is the best at LL, I did rides and attractions in 2010 and got to work on rocket racers, laser raiders, driving school and more my favourite was rocket racers to work on and I miss that ride soooo much!

Legoland
It's not really a new land, just a refurb. There is already duploland with waterworks etc. Essentially the new water area is where the golf and dry play area is now, and the new dry area will be on the site of the current water works. The waterworks is always popular at LL so. If this is themed properly then well done to LL as waterworks was desperate for a re do
