4 pm is pretty scandalous. I've always felt 5 is a bit of a short change but at least it's getting towards the latter part of the day. 4pm is afternoon. 7 hour round trip for 10-4? Don't think so.

Desperately trying to extricate myself from prior engagements now, after seeing all the pictures last night I just can't wait past the 17th!!

I'm not so sure, I always find it hard to say but there's just this niggling feeling in me that no matter how much I want to prefer FJ, I prefer Spidey. I don't know what it is, but I just feel like FJ has all the ingredients but still doesn't quite deliver the full package, I don't know why though. I think my mind changes each time I ride one or other of them But I think for whatever reason, as wrong as this may be, I'm a Spidey fan at heart. Maybe it's just the industrial superhero kinda thing just seems inherently cooler as a concept.

With all the Swarm-related excitement today, you could be forgiven for forgetting that the newly improved, HD-ified, set-improved-ified, new-lighting-ified Amazing Adventures of Spiderman opened today at Islands of Adventure! From everything I've read so far it sounds stunning, and most agree it ends the battle between Spidey and Forbidden Journey once and for all. Can't wait to get on it

I quite like the song; as has been said it's exactly what you'd expect from a band like them. I do still hope it has an instrumental theme too though.And those pictures are great

I really like this one. I don't get why the moving text is so unprofessional? Not like its some cheesy powerpoint bouncing text style thing - it suits it. Good audio, good mix of ride and other stuff - just as it should be imo.

I love the video - exceptionally good.Undecided about the YM@S soundtrack - like others have said it has the potential to be cool but I'm not generally a fan of their music. However, I have enough faith to suspect Thorpe wouldn't spend £20m on a ride and then let a band ruin it with a rubbish soundtrack. I'm hoping it'll sound a bit like something on the slightly heavier side of Force of the Storm / Banner Science Park from the Islands of Adventure soundtrack, which works very well.Imagining chorus screamo line - "THE SWARM IS COMING!" It was more the fact that the pre-vis stuff showed bodyshells, you can't expect the trains to be left literally just as chassis. Not even Six Flags would do that. And I can't believe the EP fanboyism that plagues the internet is being extended to claim SS's car park is almost theming.

Not entirely sure why people are laughing when those trains don't have any body shell on yet? I'm assuming people realise they won't be left like that... Personally I think the restraint / vest colour combination looks great.

So damn jealous!

Looks lovely, I'm actually surprised by the pacing, which looks faster than I was expecting for the most part - it doesn't seem to crawl the taller elements as slowly as it seemed to from off ride. Also, just listen to it! Very happy

To be fair, only the first one is costing £1.2m and the rest will be significantly less. I do like them, despite the sentimental basis on which they're being introduced. And bendy buses are bloody awful so no loss there.
