It's "suitable" accommodation for its target audience, bet they have no problem selling rooms

I'd love to come but I'm in between night shifts on those days, thanks Thorpe for sorting it though!
-
Like most things, they need to re train and I imagine some new staff members would be getting trained
-
Or a rushed "quick, let's pack one in there" ground.....
-
Adding theming to it? There's an old saying...you can't polish a turd!!
-
Is this for under 18's again?
-
Just rant to say thank you to Thorpe for organising this. Great to see them looking after enthusiasts and taking steps in the right direction

How about pictures of some of the rides that didn't make it. Old planning ideas and such like?

I believe it was to do with the marketing of the ride and it was a merlin decision as a euro fighter was cheaper and easier to market. They always had their eye on a tie in with saw so went for the cheaper ride type. On that note, the saw contract is 5 years long and Thorpe has the option to renew. At one point saw:alive wasnt going to be saw themed this year but they wouldn't say why.

I was told it won't be back this season but may in the future. They are also confident they can maintain the swarm effects as they are easy to access and operate/maintain! Time will tell!

They dropped the bomb shell at the end of our tour...we were gutted, they also considered a flyer but not in as much detail as the woodie!

Think this is the best place to post...pictures from today, wasn't allowed swarm close ups though enjoy!http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.174063362702999.33963.100002980098486&type=3&l=1e70e8ddb2

I had an educational tour today and oh my god does the swarm look awesome! We weren't allowed close up pictures but I can say that the theming looks even better in the flesh and also the fire engine is slightly submerged. The helicopter isn't as big as I expected but still looks fab. I will upload pictures later!

I'm off for an educational visit tomorrow...watch this space for snowy swarm pics!!
-
Now that fire is confirmed....maybe that tidal gas ball will be back

I think the inversions on this thing are really going to pack a punch. I'm thinking about the last inversion on blue fire, I'd imagine they could be quite "airy" like that.At the speed it's testing...makes the inversions far more fun I reckon!
-
I appreciate the above the posts, just seems that I can't get my own head around how it'll make it through the first inversion, doesn't seem to be enough of a drop. I'll get it on opening day I'm sure
-
I'm pretty sure it is the right topic??Is it not speculation?? Or a theory then?? I just think the lift hill will go at quite a rate to make that first inversion.
-
Here's one to throw in the mix (although I bet totally wrong) but has anyone noticed how the first inversion at the top of the ride is similar to how the Incredible Hulk starts off? Launched lifthill? (just sayin)

Why do I love your so much Fever?

How cool will they be at fright nights? Thank you THORPE PARK, even I can't think of a way that you've messed this one up!
