SHUT UP OK!!!! :PEDIT - Someone else has essentially posted a POV and said it's like Air, my ride geekiness hidden once more

Results of a recession basically...Shops and other jobs aren't hiring as many as they used to in order to save money that in the long run isn't really needed to be spent by them...Least I have an excuse of university times for this summer... And next year I can just launch into as many graduate jobs as possible...

Just when you thought it was safe... She RETURNS! She so blatently heard Europa Park's theme song, "Dein Moment"...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64AxSUIkWkk

Typical Merlin applications it seems recently... Nearly 2 months until a reply from Dungeons? Yeah, useless buggers atm...
-
Only available for iPhones Though the "Find my Car" sounds interesting...EDIT - Actually, since Nicky has downloaded it, it's awful...
-
They can take around 2 hours to do depending on how many people, how many tasks and other bits and bobs...You should DEFINITELY tell them that you could be late, so at least then if you are late, they are expecting it and it doesn't reflect TOO badly on you... Unlike one guy who turned up literally before the interviews in one I was in recently...

Uninspiring? You HAVE seen that first drop right? It'll certainly be the most impressive part of the entire ride...Besides, my experience of X was nothing short of unimpressive... 4D isn't the be all or end of of this and every other B&M Wingrider...
-
Well then, stop trying to convince yourself then you may well not be disappointed... Unless it gets announced officially as a spinning 4D, then it is (and always was) enthusiast fancy with no actual factual backup to the idea...

It NEEDS to... Like, can imagine they got a hell-load of complaints about it this weekend... Lots of grumbling people in the queue behind us...

The batching system on Vampire is AMAZING....Lol jk, it wasn't being done today, indeed, some guest had a go at me for walking into the empty queue for row 10 when they were in row 9, ignorant tart...It was rather rainy today, which we got through until we (rather Nicky here) elected to go on Fury... Which didn't end well as per usual, Fury went down to 2 people per car, multitudes of exit riders turned up, and of course the staff were too busy trying to make everyone embrace their bloody inner dragon to actually dispatch the bloody cars... "NO I WILL NOT FLAP MY WINGS! OH, YOU WON'T SEND THE CAR TILL I WILL? FINE THEN *sits*"There's good interaction, then there's BAD interaction that gets in the way of actual operations... Cars shouldn't be stacking cos staff are trying to get guests to roar or flap...Elsewhere was good... Vampire's new lighting was... ok... It's a nice idea to make it seem a lot more active on a visual scale, either that, or Chessie ordered a hell load of extra green and red lights from the Bubbleworks refit... Still, at least the PA had been turned down slightly... Though now it seems very much the operator loves the sound of their own voice, as the second op was louder than the first we encountered...Other positives, NEW CHARACTERS!!!! I spied 3 pirates outside Buccaneer (and one later in Mexicana) who did some great interaction with both the queue and ride itself, then whilst wandering around Wanyama we encountered an Explorer, who is essentially Nigel Thornberry and therefore EPIC... We bumped into him again in the hotel (Zafari wasn't great, over-cooked burger ¬¬) and he also did good interactions... Great to see improvements and hopefully we will see characters in EVERY area...And finally, remember that lion rockwork planning permission thing that appeared last year? It's been built now and looks very nice from the hotel (since that's where the front is mostly visible) and whilst still being worked on, shall hopefully make the animals go closer to the tower in the safari area...All in all a decent day, only ruined by Fury being crap in traditional British summer weather...

^Well, they couldn't go on about enjoying going down...

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2Some good bits, some dodgy bits (some of the CGI ) and some nice set-pieces brought this together... However, I feel like this film JUMPED so damn much, and many scenes needed more in a very general state of mind...However, the really emotional scenes, were PERFECTLY dealt with... Simple and effective was the way forward, and it really really worked on that level..In regards to the above, this film WAS shot back to back, and I would probably prefer to see it in one MASSIVE film, regardless if it takes 5 hours out of my life on a regular basis... I do think a Director's Cut will make this film damn near perfect...7.5/10And finally, I WANT THE GRINGOTTS CREDDDDDD!!!!11

Following the topic of suicide ladies and gentleman... -_-I LOVE these kind of topics sometimes...

^Depends how much you need for the mechanic job really... Cos in some cases, getting experience in an actual job (especially mechanical fixing based) is better than college, since practical can trump theoretical...I would lean towards the dream job as long as it's simple to start out on...

Last year Huss changed the rules for height limits and Chessie took it to placing adults on the end of every single row for each ride... Causing time and effort (to often 10 minutes sometimes) to load and send the ride...Thank god it's changed...

Loving this campaign...

The worst off in these situations is the driver... Can only imagine how it must feel for someone to have a person leap in front of them and they can't do anything to prevent it from happening...And the ripple effect is much larger (as Mark said) in comparison to hanging oneself... It's very murky waters here we be treading...

You are James Adams and I claim my five pounds! -_-I can see a serious discussion coming up from this... And quite frankly it is relatively a good point as to why trains are used as such a popular suicide medium, how many deaths per year are caused by this? Suicide is of course something few of us can understand, but really, a train cannot truly be the best way to cure the pain and suffering?

The Blue Barnacle (Previously Black Buccaneer)
Benin replied to themeparkmad's topic in Chessington World of Adventures
8? More like 18 dear -_-Bout bloody time too... Buccaneer since the rules changed has turned from a must ride to a not bothered since the queue is silly... -
Surely if the email system is broken an alternative should be in place to ensure that this doesn't happen? It's AWFUL when you don't get a reply from a job you've applied for... He's not being selfish, he's looking out for himself with some actual initiative...
