Question About Fright Nights
You only need one ticket for the full day

Possible reference to X:\NWO?

SAW: Alive
Yeah there is a gate that gently springs shut by its self. That frightened the life out of me the first time I went in there! Most terrifying thing of the entire damn maze!

SAW: Alive
Are you sure that was not just marketing?

SAW: Alive
I don't think we should tar all the actors with the same brush, some of them are brilliant. On the other hand some of them aren't.I think Saw Alive is a bit awkward, the Saw films are not particularly 'scary' - if all the actors were laying around in the traps it wouldn't be much of a 'horror maze'. I think to make this work they should put a few more pig masked actors in there to do the jumping out from dark corners and all that, and let the other actors focus on being in the traps rather than having to worry about scaring everyone as well.As it currently stands if you took down the sign at the entrance most guests would not be able to tell that it is themed around Saw at all! It's lost all its 'Sawness' because they are trying to make it more scary.

SAW: Alive
Interesting. I wonder what's going on there.Where had they moved it to?

SAW: Alive
Surely they would just do 2 shifts?

Security
That's true. It wouldn't cause too much of a problem to the surrounding area really. I think it is a potential target though, but not as much as Disney is a likely terrorist target for America. They are more likely to go for Alton Towers because it's the UK's largest and most popular theme park and would make a lot of headlines. or the London Eye because it's one of London's main icons.I think the checks are mainly to combat drug abuse at the park though. There are always so many people walking around Thorpe stoned or smoking some funny smelling cigarettes...

Se7en
Surely breathing through your mouth is worse I feel for the actors though, imagine standing in that for hours.
-
Stealth
You obviously haven't had to stand in a 40 minute queue for Stealth whilst it is on one train.

Stealth
The app also says Slammer is still down.Basically they have totally abandoned the app by the looks of things.

How Many Trains?
It's pretty funny to read some of the comments people write on the FB pages for all of the Merlin attractions.I was reading a very funny one w while ago when Alton Towers were asking people what they would like to ask the creators of Th13teen, some of the comments were a bit negative

How Many Trains?
Amen to that.I honestly think Thorpe should stop cutting corners here. They know how much a ride costs to run every day at full capacity, and they are perfectly capable of running 2 trains on each ride, every day. It's just shameless money grabbing! If there was a queue of about 10 people then of course it would be sensible for them to run one train, I realise thay will want to save money when they can, but to make people queue needlessly for 20 minutes is simply ridiculous! Theme park tickets cost a lot of money, and customers should expect the best value for their money, no matter when they visit. It's not fair to start cutting corners and giving customers a shoddy service just because it's not high season.

How Busy Is It Going To Be?
I went on a Thursday during the week after Fright Nights last year and the queues were around 20 mins for the main rides I think. Much longer for Saw though. So it wasn't exactly dead. We can't expect to walk streight on to the rides I think.I'm planning on going during the November weekdays too and the last day of the season :)Anybody know what it's likely to be like on Sunday 7th Nov? (Last day of season)

Who Wants A Rollback On Stealth?

How Busy Is It Going To Be?
How busy is the last day of the season usually?I've been to Thorpe on the last week of the season before, only it was mid-week and the park was totally dead. This time I'm planning to go on the last day of the season (Sunday 7th November) or maybe Saturday 6th. Do many people use it as a last chance to ride? Or is it likely to be quiet?

I think the most we can expect is a couple of coloured lights just hung up around the roof, and maybe they will at least think about removing some of the dirt in there? especially as it's now all on show!I know everyone always says that 'maybe they will improve the ride this year', every year! We can live in hope can't we?

Very true. I do think they are turning it around though, this year the theming has been far better maintained on all rides and is still working on most days. Remember they are re-doing the entire area in front of X, along with the new ride, and there are rumours of the new lighting inside the X building. Hopefully the ride will get a bit of TLC over winter?I do think it's sloppy though, to turn the lights on and expose all the dirt without doing anything to try to hide it!

Closed Rides
Hasn't this been said sinse the park opened this season? I don't think a day has passed without Stealth having some sort of problem
-
Rush
Hmm... I hope Thorpe's luck isn't running out. They have done so well so far this season, and now they've got 3 rides down.

Slammer
YES! I've been looking for this for so long! Is there anywhere I can download it?
