  1. I've just seen a new advert for The Swarm on Pick tv. Starts off with people scrambling to get away from the swarm in a street which then cuts to a kid being taken from his bike. Then various shots of devastation (helicopters crashing into buildings ect) followed by different angles of the coaster. It features the you me at six song playing throughout the advert. Not sure if this is the advert to be shown on channel 4 but this advert was very impressive.Edit- beat me to it.
  2. Just going off topic here but ive been looking at images of Wild Eagle and wondering whether it is actually taller than the Swarm. I know they say it is 210ft tall but thats measured from the bottom of the mountain. The drop is 135ft and that drops down passed the other side of the mountain. Looking at the image below, the side of the mountain is much more than 8ft high which must mean that the hieght from the top of the lift hill to the base of the support is less than the 127ft of the Swarm.
  3. Just the inversion section to go in.This is the latest from the time lapse camera and this will update on here so no need to go on the website.
  4. Looking at the plans I don't think the section of track installed this morning has the support attached and it is infact the next section up that will have the support.I may be wrong though and I'm sure we will find out soon enough if we get some updates that aren't from the time lapse camera. Is there a possibility of the flying fish being closed today with construction so close by? If anyone is interested in following the hourly updates from the time lapse camera then click HERE.
  5. Work continues on the first drop. The next section of track installed can just be seen before going out of the picture. This really does go a long way out over ther water.
  6. The support was taken down to allow the crane access to construct the first drop. I do find it strange that they are constructing it this way. I would have thought that they would have had a start point to construct the ride and then follow the track round (like they are doing with Wild Eagle) rather than construct different sections of track around the island. Cheers fo the updates!!!!
