They are fairly easy to find but at least they are easier for people to find now who are searching for the X sountracks, rather than having to trawl the internet to find them.
  2. Rita's spot would be just perfect for a woodie. Shame that won't ever happen...
  3. What I meant was that Oakwood are the worst for one train operation.
  4. For the so called "UK's leading theme park" that is just laughable!

That definitely sounds like they were just trying to shift the queue (which won't work if they are batching more fastrack than normal anyway!) and it is a shame that they felt the need to compromise experience instead of operating the queue the way they should have been.
  6. It's been posted above but I just thought I would let you know, BPB have posted this on their Facebook page: Have a good time everyone!

It was very inconsistent last year. Sometimes it was really good and scary, whereas at other times it was just poor.

If My Bloody Valentine ends up being in the white tent then I hope they reuse the containers, but with gaps between them for additional scenes to make it much longer. It might not be in the tent, but I can't think of where else the containers would fit around that area in the same formation. Exciting times! In other news, the VIP maze tour seems to have been changed so that it is now only one maze for £20, as opposed to all four which I'm sure it said last time I looked.

For anyone who went on the My Bloody Valentine tour last year, was it interesting? Was there much to see that you can't see under show conditions? I am considering paying £20 to see all four behind the scenes, and would like to know whether it would be worth it. Thanks

Am I supposed to have the questions yet?

Taken from the press release: "crazed flesh-eating murderers on the hunt for fresh kill and hoarding limbs for their prized trophy cabinet." Hopefully this means there will be a piece of theming like what is being described above.
  12. That looks brilliant!
  13. Really hope all goes well and the park opens!
  14. I spoke to several people who had been told they couldn't get in due to the ticket machines breaking, as well as someone at the same place I was staying telling me that they had to wait an hour and a half for them to be fixed before anyone could get in.
  15. That is why I have suggested a Ghost Train. Everyone will always be interested in them, they have long queues up and down the country at parks which have them. I reckon that the only reason Haunted House didn't get huge queues is that it has a huge throughput - even moreso then as it was 6 per vehicle. Duel doesn't get very long queues at all now, but that doesn't mean it isn't popular.
  16. It doesn't have to be on the same scale of Duel though, it could be much smaller but still good.
  17. I've said it a thousand times but I'll say it again, dark rides don't have to be expensive to be good, but they need to be considered well. A simple laugh in the dark ghost train (but with better throughput than most others do) would go down a treat with Thorpe's current target audience, and they could make it scary and fun rather than spending too much money on a specific theme. If it was a large investment obviously a theme would be necessary, but then again look at the original Haunted House at Alton Towers - didn't really have one set theme, but it was fantastic!

Well in that case I am very jealous of how often you get to Thorpe! And I don't think I ever said that it was like that every day, don't put words in my mouth.

Well then, would you care to explain to me why, over the past two years, it has been the case at least four times that The Swarm has been on one train until 11am? With a long queue most times I might add? 25 times over the last two years is quite a lot I think, how many have you been?
  20. I think it is some sort of posting company, I remember they ruined my day at visited Chessington similarly last year.

Speaking from a lot of times at the park, I can assure you that it does happen frequently.
  22. Overselling Fastrack is what causes such long main queues, as well as causing me to shout a lot! I mean whoever had the stupid idea of giving free fastrack to 3000 people ought to be fired!
  23. Just found it, didn't know that!
  24. Is the Shoutbox coming back?
