  1. It probably could theoretically, but it won't happen because Merlin don't feel the need for it.
  2. Oh ok. I remember from April hearing Kelman's voice in the strobe maze shouting "SMILE!" but not that one, but then again it was probably easy to miss.
  3. Coaster

    Legoland

I'm not keen on Legoland - far too overpriced and the throughputs of most of the rides is dire, and there is need there for a big throughput. Never seen The Dragon running three trains though, is this new this year?
  4. I don't remember hearing it in The Sanctuary though. Where was it played in there?
  5. No, they can send the train before that as it can be stopped on the lift hill should the other train not make it back to the station. It's a shame Inferno isn't run this efficiently all the time (well and the rest of the rides at Thorpe for that matter).
  6. I'm hoping that the indoor section of the queueline (if there is one) will look similar to The Sanctuary and have the music playing that was used in the queueline of The Sanctuary.
  7. So annoyed that I missed the Blue Peter coverage! It had better be put onto Iplayer!
  8. I'm sure in that report you can clearly see that the train travels straight into the station from the brake run, meaning that nothing else happens.
  9. I really don't think there is a secret element. Still looks like a great ride though
  10. Haha bit of a mistake!
  11. There are simple solutions though (which should have been taken into account before ride opening): - Remove the preshow and have an indoor queueing area - Individual lapbars instead of seatbelts - Lower fences (cut wood off the top of them in places where that can be done)
  12. I still don't understand this, how and where exactly does the train stall? It usually makes it over that overbanked curve with quite a speed. (Where does it actually come to a stop? Is it the curved section of track between the immelman and the overbank?)
  13. I would imagine Mondays being quiet even during the school visit period - I can't imagine any schools visiting the park on a Monday.
  14. They need to improve operations on Vampire, it's not acceptable to have it this awful when it is one of two coasters trying to support a high amount of guests on some days. (I didn't count Rattlesnake because it's height restriction is quite high so families can't ride it - they go straight for Fury or Vampire in terms of coasters).
  15. Oops I worded it badly! Anyway I wasn't being serious...
  16. ^ no it's not... One is life threatening, one is a roller coaster.
  17. That explains it then. (Obviously because royalty free means minimal costs). Is it just me who thinks that the Neverland theme was a last minute decision? It seemed to be advertised as a pirate log flume with no hints of any other theme to it, then suddenly Peter Pan appears out of nowhere?
  18. Four hours?! Blimey, I wouldn't wait that long for any ride!
  19. I think that Neverland was a bad choice from the park (theming wise), people who like Peter Pan probably wouldn't be tall enough to go on the rides anyway! I can't see it attracting many more people to the park...
  20. ^Knightmare!! Please!
  21. Yeah you do get some idiots in Blackpool itself, but with the entrance fee you wouldn't get that in Pleasure Beach I'm sure.
  22. Blackpool Pleasure Beach have confirmed today that on 9th November this year they will be open until MIDNIGHT! Full details here: https://www.facebook.com/jamie.kingston.56/favorites#!/pleasurebeachresort?fref=ts
  23. Was the train being lifted up by a crane in that photo? (Surely it can't actually stop there?)
  24. Looks amazing, can't wait to ride it for myself!
