The Harry Potter Studio Tour- 05/07/13
Nice TR! Did they not show the "Making of"/ special effects film in the cinema room when you visited? And you are so right about the outdoor section, the day we visited last month the heavens decided to open whilst we were in that section. This was obviously slightly irritating for a number of reasons including the fact that the bridge was not open to walk across as it would be far too slippery in heavy rain. How long did you spend at the attraction? And what did you think of the huge store at the end of the tour?

Thorpe Park Monopoly
Josh this is amazing and quite possibly the best thing I have seen in a long time! I hope I will get a chance to play this at some point in the future. I will have a think about some card ideas etc.

Ministry Of Sound @ Thorpe Park Meet
One week tomorrow! Are most people still planning to get to the park for 9.30?

OWCT (OAKWOOD AND CARDIFF TRIP)
Depending on the final chosen date for the trips I should be able to make it. I can only do the weekends of 3rd - 4th August and 31st August - 1st September. The Saturday sounds like a great day to visit the park with the late closing time and fireworks display. As a big Doctor Who fan, if I am able to attend the weekend, I would love to visit Roald Dahl Plass outside the Wales Millennium centre in Cardiff on the Sunday if possible.

Ministry Of Sound @ Thorpe Park Meet
Has anyone booked their Club Night tickets yet? I just realised that we are only around a month away now and these events always seem to sell out close to the date.

Ministry Of Sound @ Thorpe Park Meet
Looking back at page 1 you seem to be the only person going to this meet at the moment Peaj!

Nemesis Inferno
Just to add to the active vs dormant volcano debate, there is the issue of the original lava coloured wood chippings that were "flowing" around the coaster when it first opened. In regards to the mossy station building I personally think it certainly looks like it needs a good clean at some point.

Chessington TPM Trip
scarycoasterboy, I love how we were both playing it cool all day and letting them all battle it out until we were in the final three!

Chessington TPM Trip
Nice explanation of Empire ThrillseekerAlex! Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain some of the approximations of that name that were used during the day lol. Update: I have just seen the video of the coaster for the first time. It does look quite fun, but what is up with those trains?

Terror (Forbidden) Tomb
I had seen that video a couple of years ago too, but it really is great to see it again. To be honest I think the finale must have made more sense to me as a child than it does now, it's so random! The video also helped make my day as the suggestions after watching included a couple of 5th Dimension videos I had not seen in a while either.

Ministry Of Sound @ Thorpe Park Meet
I will have to check but I should be able to make the meet and the meal, but will let you know for certain soon. The club night on the other hand may take a while longer for me to decide on.

Chessington TPM Trip

Chessington TPM Trip
Another amazing meet! Thanks again to Peaj for his excellent organisational skills and for introducing us all to "Empire". I'm sure quite a few of us would not mind that game reappearing at some of the future meets, I wasn't too sure about it to begin with but it turned out to be a brilliant game. And thanks to everyone else who attended and helped make sure the day was full of laughs and great conversation. It was nice to see friends again and meet new ones.I can't believe it has taken me so long to try a Topspin I actually quite enjoyed it! Thanks guys for the smidgen of peer pressure that was needed to finally get me to enter the queue line... you know who you are!

Rumba Rapids
I had not seen that 'new' hose before, it looks like a nice addition (for when the weather is good enough to get that wet). On the whole I still enjoy Rumba Rapids and would not like to see it leave the park. However some of times I have ridden it recently it almost feels like more of a serene boat ride with the occasional threat of water, especially when compared to many of the other examples of River Rapids rides out there (the US being home to 3 of my top 10). Although they may not help to make it one of the best examples in the world, I feel that the addition of some nice high quality effects around the outdoor sections and in the tunnel could REALLY help improve the ride!

Chessington TPM Trip
Really looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday. The weather forecast looks much nicer than our last meet at Thorpe Park!

Thorpe Park Open Season Trip 2013
Thanks Peaj, now in what may be quite a confusing fashion here is part 2 of my account of the meet. So at the end of part one we wondered who would be foolish enough to ride Tidal Wave in the freezing cold temperatures of last Sunday... The only two foolish adventurous enough to #BraveItFreezing were Peaj and Sidders! I don't know about you, but they don't look wet enough for me... should we send them round again? To our amusement and against all sanity they actually decided to ride again. I don't think they enjoyed the second wave very much... Just look at the pain on their faces and those pink hands! Maximillion found their new 'wet look' hilarious... So he got a wet slap in the face. Lovely new shoes there by the way Peaj, you trend setter! To be honest I'm not sure how these two lasted until the end of the day, they may have been chilled to the bone but look they still kept hold of their spoons! After a much needed and warm rest and food session in Bar 360 we hit the park again. By around 3pm the park had started to close more rides due to the falling temperatures, however these were soon replaced by super fast Peaj piggybacks! Maximillion and Peaj After a great but rather cold day at the park, a number of us then went for a meal at Frankie and Benny's in Staines. Despite being one of the last to leave Thorpe Park's car park I was the first to arrive at our table. "Where is everyone... was it something I said?" Thankfully everyone else eventually arrived, before I received too many strange looks and much eating, drinking and chatting was had by all! Thanks again to Peaj and everyone that attended for a really fun day!
