Good point, I think I suggested something along the lines of "el laberinto del minotauro" at Terra Mitica as something that could "fit the gap" so to speak. Interesting that you should mention the "Jump 2" as it's something a number of people have suggested, decent(ish) capacity and visual pleasing but a mixed bag as far as reviews go....

Exactly As I stated in some other thread which has evaded my mind for now a quality dark attraction is just what Thorpe needs, where it would best go is anyones guess but there have been question marks over the future of X in recent weeks. In regards to the whole spacing / throughput issue and on a medium investment type budget as I posted before I still think a Zacspin would be a perefect solution.

So what would you suggest?

Jeeez, I was literally spitballing the idea. Chessie have added a stage and 2 cans of dulux this year yet the figures I'm sure will be consistent. I personally don't think it would be any loss / gain by swapping one for the other considering it's target market, besides it's not like this hasn't been done before.

Couldn't resist Not voted yet but it'll be a no, I can't see all 3 Merlin parks in the UK having a topspin or at least something down the line in the topspin format. If it does happen I could see maybe a straight swap with Quantum heading to Chessie and RR heading to Thorpe, take out the water effects and maybe add some smoke and fire. If anything, I think the next park investment will be a solid dark ride. Something I think the park has lacked since the days of WWH.

Haha, yes the ECC meet on Saturday was the source of my info too. They are just as desperate for all effects to fully operational as we are.

They have indeed, just awaiting one final tick in the box, same applies to the train LEDs.
