Been taken apart for maintenance over the closed season, as has Submission.

Freefalling downwards whilst staring up at the sky, the track speeds away from beneath you and as you enter the hole darkness closes in all around you. Mmm, The back row of Oblivion backwards sounds good. I don't know I just have this slow motion vision of it being great although I can't deny that the 'don't look down' theme wouldn't fit anymore. But you say that as if turning the back two rows on The Swarm backwards makes any sense either? I'm keen for backwards B&M; don't knock it until you try it.

    Better?

Skeptical about whether it was the right decision by the park, but I am really excited to ride it backwards.

Alright, I take that Stealth was a short notice name. I was just using it as an example of how people get over these names in time. And the context point is very true. In short, I think it's a great name in context, but weird out of context. At least with the logo it makes a bit of sense!

A quick google search defines Stealth as this: I fail to see how the ride experience matches this definition. Either way The Smiler name matches the ride and theme a lot better than 'Stealth' does.

I'm pleasantly surprised! I haven't seen it with my own eyes so I'll take your word. Thinking about it, Inferno works well without a batcher.

No need to call people 'delusional' for having a different taste to you. I personally think it fits, and it makes a nice change from THE 'DESTROYER' sort of name that every other ride has. Plus if it gets people talking about how stupid the name is then it works as advertising for itself! Stealth isn't exactly a great name because the ride isn't stealthy at all. It's the opposite. But do you hear people in the queue line laughing at the name? No, usually they're talking about how scared they are.

*Shudder* Take a trip to a Six Flags park and say that again. Basically as clever as you think people are, they cannot organise themselves behind the gates properly. Think Vampire.

The Smiler is looking good, however many fake names they put out. It might be as good as Dylan, Calypso, maybe Stealth. Err.

I had a dream that whilst everyone was discussing Swarm being turned backwards THORPE PARK actually turned the both Colossus trains backwards in a surprise twist. That is to say, all of this backwards stuff is eating at my brain.

Yes! I keep meaning to set up a tower playlist on my phone. No really. And Euromir > Blue Fire?

The youth orchestra I attended has had budget cuts from the council throughout my attendance from age 9-18 and so some of the bands I was in were cut; but it's come out that the whole of the grant has been cut and it will be closing down at the end of the year. It's just such a shame because the money is a drop in the ocean when it comes to the big finance picture for them I'm sure! And they've been cutting back all this time to the bare minmum, why close it down? I appreciate that there are thousands of little things that need some money from the government and it doesn't affect me directly because I've left now! I just feel for the musicians in the lower bands who won't get to play at the Royal Albert Hall or go on music tours to Brittany, Venice, Barcelona. The music was astounding quality but even then came second to making friends. It's hard to explain but it's been a big part of my life and has moulded me as a person; everyone should have that opportunity.

    Shall we not.

I might be looking at the photo wrong but the 'shadowed' bits underneath the train looks like patches where it hasn't snowed, so they weren't testing it in the snow, the train was just there at the time that it snowed.
  18. Doesn't that happen at all of these Travelodge nights? Well that's how their built up anyway.
  19. Before everyone goes way off topic requesting a Chessington meet, there will be one this year so save all of that for another time please! This is all about Thorpe.
  20. Didn't even know this was closing, that is so sad considering how hilarious it was and so different from all the other 3D film/ride combinations. Not so super anymore.
  21. Cheeky micechat link. Yeah it's the same system as Paris and all the Disney parks. Edit: On another note! Oooooooh.
  22. Well Disney are throughput gods and the fastpass system is great. Even if it is busy you can get on a lot in a day if you plan it right and use the fastpass system well. Expect big queues for Radiator Springs Racers though, even in its second year it will be super busy.
  23. Depends how late in August, because some schools go back before the last week so it's not too bad, ie 25 minutes for Space Mountain. But in the weeks before you would see it around 50 minutes at peak time. This is also a good tool to use if you remember to over a month beforehand! I find it's pretty accurate!
  24. ^ No.
