  1. Yeah been unavailable since before Fright Nights 09, but if you struggle with steps maybe it's wise not to ride, as you'd have to walk down steps in an emergency situation.
  2. Feel free to delete this once the issue has been sorted out, but why has the topic name not been changed to something like 'Re-riding' or something. :|
  3. For Sheepie's Benefit :2008: Toy Story Mania2009: Re-theme of The Sun Wheel to Mickey's Fun Wheel (And the removal of the Mickey Mouse face from the California Screamin' loop) Re-theme of boardwalk games to include real disney characters. 2010: World of Color show, (And paradise park) Re-theme of the Orange Stinger (wave swinger ride) to Silly Symphony Swings, closure of Golden Dreams show starring Whoopi Goldberg, closure of the Maliboomer space-shot ride. Change of music from 50s 'Beach Boy' songs to ragtime/jazz music.2011: Trees, benches, and a smoking area to replace the Maliboomer, Little mermaid ride, re-theme of Mulholland Madness to Goofy's Sky Skool and re-theme of the Pizza Oom Mow Mow restaurant and McDonald's Burger invasion to Pizza Pasta Garden, change of California Screamin' launch audio from a 'surfer' voice to Neil Patrick Harris! Long process. xDtoSorry Whoopi :DApologies for all the photos!World of colour full show: Obviously so much better in person, but for those not lucky enough to be able to see it for yourself: California Screamin' Launch Audio:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmzVVuddb0A&feature=relatedNew:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HHCpPCWYQASorry for this epic post, thanks if you read through. 4. Although you could argue that is they were so secluded, they would be difficult to find!

I really liked the new pirates film, however as always the original is best! And I understand the plot of all the films really well, and could never understand why my mother still can't even though we have all three on DVD! I despair! But awesome film.
  6. I know there is a poll but this fantastic place deserves a real topic in my opinion! With all the talk of Florida trips recently it has reminded me of the amazingness that is Disneyland California! So to start off a magical new ride based around the Little mermaid film:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIarm5FEQXI&feature=mh_lolz&list=FLmaqwRppLNLcRiders are given a backstory by a seagull before plunging underwater into the vibrant and soundsational ocean along with Sebastian, Ariel and Flounder of course! It's a great mixture between a fantasyland dark ride and the 'omnimover' system as seen in the Haunted Mansion too.Although this isn't a main attraction it is definitely a welcome addition; nice to see a ride focused on a fairytale once again. This is one of the many new projects and renovations of the $2billion Disney California Adventure remodel. This includes the addition of Cars Land new for 2012 and a complete refurbishment of the Paradise Pier area of the park from a tacky pier carnival theme to a classic victorian pier theme which is in great taste. These projects are fascinating to follow as with Disney, production moves fast! I'm very much looking forward to Cars Land among the other great rides such as The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania, California Screamin', and Soarin' over California to name a few.^ California Screamin', Mickey's Fun Wheel, and World of Colour show.
  7. Oh Soarin' Same film in both DCA and Epcot, only one is Soarin' over California and the other is Soarin' over USA (But really just Soarin') - Weird. And the cheesy pre-show is voiced by Joe Swanson from family guy! Woop. :PSoarin' to tower, we are clear for takeoff.

Yes of course I am aware that POV stands for Point of View. ;)I do see that it could make sense, however POV is generally the term used when a video is taken on a ride.

You cannot have an Off Ride POV... This made me so angry for some reason.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjwBNiDQ1jM&feature=related

Indeed Peter. It's called 'Knight's Quest' and is located next to Dragon's Apprentice as can be seen on this extract of the map:Full map can be found here.
  11. Funny how Fantasmic makes this park so busy, whereas in Disneyland Resort California it's on at certain nights but would in no way influence the park business considering it's put on in the 'rivers of america' river. Nice read though, and I would beat you epicly in Toy Story Mania.

  13. Back in the day (up till the 2003 season I believe) Machines were used to issue free fasttrack tickets on main attractions such as Colossus, Tidal Wave, Nemesis Inferno. The same system was used at Chessington for Vampire, Bubbleworks, Tomb Blaster. Not entirely sure how they worked but the idea was to help skip a few queues much like Disney's fastpass system. Needless to say the system was 'abused' and didn't run very well and so was taken away and replaced with fasttrack you have to buy to increase profits etc. Hope this helps!Fasttrack machines at tidal wave covered up, and a fasttrack 'when to return' sign.
  14. Tom replied to Phill's topic in Nonsense
No I meant I'll be starting them.

If people beg for people to come into chat it's a bit needy. xDPlus some of us try and avoid it at all cost. Arguments are common.
  16. Well Terminator Salvation - The Ride in Six Flags Magic Mountain (Now Apocalypse) was all about escaping on the esacpe train, yet the offloading and loading was all done on the same platform.

Yeah the admins disabled it after each topic showed about 5 posts a page due to big signatures. So you won't have any luck displaying any form of media or colour.
  19. He has! That's where the name has come from, not entirely fan-made.

Why is there a 'rate topic' button, if whenever I press it I get this:
  21. No idea what they are but they're not paint, they must be some form of erosion or general signs of dereliction as the scratches are.
  22. Yeah they weren't really accessible, behind a large fence and building so that would make sense! Still cool though.
  23. I have no idea if there are any still there! I haven't been to Staines station since Thorpe AP day, and don't even know if they were there then?If someone took one they most likely took them all!
  24. Not accusing! Just saying, I would've just nicked one if I wanted too. I feel bad they seemed to have conned you a bit seeing as they got it for free! :/
  25. Didn't you just nick the sign? They'd been rotting away just behind a building in the station. :|
