On Saturday there was hardly any non pass holders waiting to go in. Most of the people were pass holders so that's probably why they're charging as otherwise they wouldn't get much ticket money and getting Braniac Live in won't be cheap (not supporting the charge just giving the probable reason for it).

The Castle is full of history. And Merlin. Welcome to Warwick Castle. Oh, follow these signs for the distances labelled and you can go to Merlin places of magic. Historic. Don't you just love being ticketed. Some decent shows. I really like the year round Annual Pass show at the Stables Ticket Office. So much rich history. First date though... 2015 More NEW stuff! And it's not black. Towers. Warwick. There's no difference really. (And yes, Jack is now alive) Quick suit up! ATTACK!!!! Oh no... they've given him a weapon. He's too happy by that. Stealth and Swarm on one train wasn't a problem at all. They never got more than 3/4 trains waits from what I saw. Flying Fish stalled twice though (maybe more) which was quite funny! Braniac show is still good but to anyone who went and saw it last Easter it is essentially the same show. Oh, and The Dome is weird without the stage and screens in the way as you walk in.

When we were there in September, Toofpikk used a go-pro on the rides and they were fine with it (we asked at each ride and they thought it was quite cool).

Braniac could be in the Marquee. It is in the right area of open rides so would make sense. As for this, I think it could be quite good fun and something different for the Park that isn't a ride trying to make me sick. Fun. It's already caught the medias attention massively so it's a success that way.

No BBQ makes sense, that area of the park isn't open (and Thorpe will probably be taking advantage of that moving materials in and out of the Arena).

I think this is the problem. Because of the VIP pass holders who many demand Fastrack all the time (I've seen it at Summer Nights, most annoying thing ever I mean surely it's in the terms that it won't be available at certain events like Summer Nights or February half term when it shouldn't be a thing?) I understand that VIP holders have paid a huge sum for their pass, but these events shouldn't be busy enough for Fastrack to be needed even by VIP passes. I know Thorpe are making it clear that capacity is being limited (time will tell I guess) so I would hope that their will be NO Fastrack there, even if you have a VIP pass. Just an opinion.

Sure why not.

You have to prebook for the annual pass days so the numbers are limited to a moderate amount (or at least that's how they've done it the past few seasons). And what's to say we won't get something new in some form for 2015? Let's say they wanted to open something for the summer. They still can, planning doesn't take forever especially when it can be reserved matters. The council might already have had some plans submitted but they just haven't been put up yet (look back at previous applications, the received date of the plans and registered date can be up to 3 weeks apart). Towers have built a whole new coaster (okay it's in the development area so they don't need planning for it) and not mentioned it yet so what's to say Thorpe doesn't have something up their sleeves?

Going by previous years it'll probably be on the 7/8th of March or just the 8th with Friends and family day on the 7th.

Thing with Inferno is maybe they're not too sure yet if it will be ready in time. You don't want to announce it and not have it ready, plus it's much better to know for certain you'll have Stealth and Swarm as these are easier to market as the parks icon and newest coaster. A few flats will surely be added and tea cups is inevitable as it's in the right area. Guess we'll find out for sure in just over 2 weeks

A few more rides have been added to the list: So Depth Charge and Fish have been added, I was expecting Detonator to be on the list though as that forms part of ABL, but it does say "including" so I'm guessing more will be added as that line up isn't brilliant let's be honest.

Legoland
