I think some people are overreacting a little, after all this is Chessington.

That attention to detail just gets better and better. Judging from the look of the Hollywood & Night Hawk, they do look quite dated, Hollywood looks old, dated and a strange cross between the great movie ride and River Caves at Blackpool (amongst using the same system as POTC) although looks to hold some charm to it, whilst Night a Hawk looks dull (unlike space mountain or Vogel Rock). Whilst both are probably on the chopping block, they'll probably still have some years left, what with the upcoming hotel and water park coming, however chances are both will be gone by the time the next decade arrives.

On the assumption Fury was supposed to be tempory, it enlightens the argument further why it is absolutely escential Chessington 'need' another major coaster. Vampire has somewhat reached the end of it's life [especially now reaching the life extentancy age of a suspended coaster] and will likely be spared removal for as long as possible. Fury was supposed to be tempory and the ride looks quite a mess and lacks the theming many other rides had once. Rattlesnake struggles with throughput and operations [especially since Smiler this year] and is also starting to struggle now. Scoprion is really the only coaster that's doing it's job well. It's reliable, has an okay'ish throughput but then due to the other coaster's problems is often left picking up the pieces [long queues]. I hope whatever big investment arrives in 2017, greatly helps the park's many many problems as a whole.

Maybe Windsor's investment cycles have been swapped [due to the 'Cancel' refusing Ghost] and as a result we were meant to get Heartlake in 2017, at least I hope so as I really hope Ghost can eventually get approved in the future and they find a way around this obstacle. Considering Florida received the same addition amongst a hotel and was described as medium, I'm hoping this is the case. I've noticed that something abbreviated SLC has been mentioned several times on the midway plan which also mentions it for Londin in 2017. Any one know what that is?

The article was an interesting read which clearly shows the Legoland and midway attractions is where Merlin are currently excel right now. Judging from the timeline dates, 2015 was a high investment year for Gardland & Legoland Windsor and a medium year for Florida 2016 will be a high investment year for Thorpe & Legoland Billund and a medium one for California 2017 will be a high year for Chessington, Heide Park, Legoland Germany and a medium one for Windsor. There's no mention of Alton Towers at all which potentially suggest that SW8 has been delayed until 2018 or worse, cancelled. If these are true it'll be interesting yet disappointing how the future of Alton Towers progresses. I hope Chessington finally receive something major in the future that isn't Zufari, the park as a whole needs some fresh meat rather than enhancement of something existing.

Has never been to Europa Park, Efteling, Gardaland and Phantasialand, Now where do I recall that from?
-
It's all on the cards for the near future (unless anything more exciting happens) #MC16.On a serious note, maybe they could replace TOTNH with a dark ride like Ratatouille style ride, which at somewhere like Phantasia could do wonders.

Re theme chessington to a lost/abandoned zoo/theme park that hasn't been touched for years-oh wait!
-
Temple Of The Night HawkIt's an indoor coaster there which I hear isn't the best (I wouldn't know though as I've not been yet).

Banned for seemingly having an out of control addiction to how bad my grammar 'apparently' is.

Opening hours for last operation week have now reverted to normal. The park is open everyday now up to closed season with November weekdays closing at 4pm and the last weekend closing at 5pm
-
So four rides closed today at the resort [2 major with one of those being Tombs]. Really want to know what's happened to Tombs as it just seems like it's just died towards the end of summer, never to reopen [unless there's something new happening we don't know about]. No idea what that's about. The park is open until 4pm on weekdays and 5pm on weekends and then 8pm on Howl' O Ween Dates.

That entrance centre piece for the Big Top maze looks stunning, potentially the best themed element for Halloween we've seen yet at Thorpe. Shame the big Top won't open until 8 on the preview night [which will get massive queues], however there must be a good reason behind that I.E media events or something.

Likes Legoland more than Chessie despite his username.

Tomorrow is another ban!

Looks an interesting area especially on the dark ride point, hopefully this could turn out to be a well themed area for Legoland Billund. Wonder where this area will be going [since Ghost replaced that gold mine thing and kids coaster]. I like how Lego are gradually adding more dark rides to their parks now [shame Windsor is a good few step behind the other parks though due to it's planning issues].

Good to see she is still in good spirits despite her trauma. It's a great shame though she ended up making that decision as it sounded like things were starting to look up before getting a lot worse where amputation was the only option. Whether we'll see Smiler open again this year is another question but no doubt it'll have s large boycott group.

Today is a sad day for Efteling as former attraction designer Tony Van De Ven has died aged just 71, following complications of a stroke. Source Loopings & Efteling Facebook http://www.looopings.nl/weblog/4396/Efteling-grootheid-Ton-van-de-Ven-plotseling-overleden.html Van De Ven was the primary designer for attractions at Efteling for many years starting when he designed Spooksplot in the mid/late 1970's until retiring in 2003, however it is still believed he may have still put a hand in many additions after including Baron. Some of his most greatest/notable work at Efteling include Fate Morgana, Droomvlucht, Villa Volta & Vogel Rock.

If I bought Thorpe Park, I'd set plans to build a heavily immersive themed top spin. Then I'd cancel it last minute to see how many pages of debate it'll cause.

The lie indeed is 3, I haven't ridden the Dragon during every visit, though the only ocassions in recent times I haven't been on it was during my last visit and Christmas (the latter being because it was closed) 1/ I did indeed see Linford Christie. He was working out in our indoor athletics centre whilst I was helping out during an open day (our uni sees quite a few athletes around including the Jamaican Olympics team too). 2/ I do indeed own a coaster wheel, I recently purchased it from Blackpool which came from the Big One. Altitude & Whatever, it's your turn now so whoever calls shotgun gets to go first.

Here we go then, 1/ I saw Linford Christie working out at my university 2/ I own a roller coaster wheel 3/ I've ridden dragon ride at Legoland Windsor during every visit
