So....All you TPM Explorers, it is the time you have all been waiting for. The conclusion - Part 5 of 5 of the Official TPM Chessington Trip Report. We have founf out who won Empire and yes the Lost Coaster Of Superstition Mountain DOES exist (good one ThrillSeekerAlex) and yes the end is nigh but what will we find on the last leg of our journey? Just remember we last left the adventure with that calm photo in the Dragon's Fury Queue line.
EC! The photo hogger and Peaj get spun around in shock as the dragon unleashes it's anger on them

ThrillSeekerAlex, JamesC & JackStevens217 appear relaxed and pleased that they have slayed the dragon

Everyone loves it when the dragon gets furious - Thumbs up everyone

After our spin we found out Zufari was still open. We sprinted as fast as we could to get there for a last ride, Only to find...the gates were still thankfully open

After our sprint to Zufari, we were hungry, so then ran full pelt until we got to the Monkey Puzzle Beefeater

With all this running around, it was too much for Han30, who collapsed out of breathe

The super fit Phill Pritchard was disappointed with Han30's Stamina - but was even more disappointed with 3 other Individuals

Mr.Fish, Peaj & ThrillSeekerAlex to be precise - Who were all eating a lovely big Chocolate Brownie Sundae

Before we leave this adventure, we are sorry to report that a kid has been sent to Lost & Found - Does anyone know anyone who can claim him

And now the photo everyone has been waiting for - The Official Chessington 2013 Group Photo

Can I just say how much of a great day this had been. Everything just seemed to work - The sun was out, there was an extremely good crowd that attended and the day just seemed to flow naturally with ease. One of my favourites of the year for me come to think of it. So this adventure has come to a close, but for those who came to this meet also know that another adventure is looming before we go clubbing at Thorpe Park. But where? Only one way to find out and that is to wake up on Thursday Morning to find an Official TPM Announcement
    Peace People x x x
(To see the entire trip report in one place you can find it in this blog here).
All other photo's that did not make it onto the trip report you will find on my facebook page before the announcement is out

Chessington just posted on Facebook :
"What movie should be turned into a theme park attraction?"
Either random status to keep interest in the page or a cheeky bit of market research?

Hello you scrumptious TPM explorers for Part 3 of 5 of the Official TPM Chessie Trip report. We last left you with the crew getting confused between a Safari & a Zufari, whilst meeting the last member to join the gang. So what will we find today I wonder...
On the way to Black Buccaneer, TopsyTurvy15 practices his rock climbing skills by jumping the pool of death

TopsyTurvy15 looks relieved to of made it to the boat, whilst Jaymiee still looks unimpressed (even though we have taken up half the boat!)

However MarkC is way too short to ride and is refused entry before this lovely ride attendant announced the '4th rule' of our ride

Meanwhile the banana boat, being really small in comparison to Black Buccaneer, tries to act BIG by chilaxing with a spiff overlooking the ride...

ScaryCoasterBoy really wants to win the game empire so decides to recharge his batteries ready for the battle ahead

ThrillSeekerAlex on the other hand does not need solar power to re-energise for the oncoming battle

TopsyTurvy15 eyes out the competition, and works out how he can defeat ScaryCoasterBoy

ScaryCoasterBoy however finds an opportunity to finish off TopsyTurvy15, EC!, Jonny392 & TP1214 before TopsyTurvy15 defeats him....

And pushes them all to their death down a gigantic slope, to the deadliest bath time in existence!

To celebrate some people getting defeated out of the game, everyone went for a calming spin on the monkey swinger

And there we have it - just over half way through our trip report and there is unbelievably still 2 more parts to go . But who will win the Empire game? Why did Peaj get so down? And who out of the explorers worships the vampire? I have no idea how you will find out unless you come back tomorrow to find out. You do not want to miss it
To see all the trip report so far in the one spot you can find it in this blog here.

    Well...
    Volcanoes look like this:

    Not like this:

I doubt it is Nemesis Inferno's ambition to be a well themed ride, the volcano is just a fun 'setting' for the rollercoaster. But it certainly shouldn't be turning mossy and rotty either.
For a quick comparison, here it is in 2003.

I like the way you say I am proposing in all the group photo's I am in when only one photo of me as come up on the trip report... Just saying...
So hello everybody - all of you TPM explorers. Part 2 of 5 is later than I said in part 1, but as many people know the plans in the evening change when your out and about and I have to say, I did get this done last night but fell asleep at me laptop whilst writing the conclusion
So yesterday we left you with a nice photo outside the tomb blaster after people have found out about the rules of the game empire but what will we find today in the early time of the morning .
With Jackstevens217 and JamesC now reunited. It was the beginning of the hourly bro hugs

EC! feels left out, so thought he'd find love with his biscuit

It was now time to try out the new attraction Zufari and as you can see everyone is getting immersed into the experience when they see a giraffe

On Zufari we came across some Zebras

What you doing on Safari you fools, In this trip report I said we are currently at Zufari You cannot get the members these days I tell you.

That's better! Get yourself off Safari Skyway and see the rest of us back at Zufari

Now we are back all together, Did I say we came across some white rhinos

After having our first Zufari experience, Mr. Fish would like to show how happy he found the experience (and yes ladies he has chest hair - can you see it? )

From a few animals to a reptile, this photo makes it appear we have taken over the Kobra - where everyone is anticipating the force of the back rests

To finish Part 2 off, I would like to introduce to you MarkC who has come to join us for the second half of the day

So there we have it Part 2 of 5 is complete and you can see the whole trip report in the blog here. However if you want to keep on reading the topic, please continue reading . Tomorrow, what will we find in part 3 now the TPM explorer gang is complete? Has Mr. Monkey from Thorpe Park been eyeing out the competition? And how do the explorers gather their energy to defeat the competition in Empire? Well you can find out tomorrow when the you will find out the answers to these thought defying questions

Hello all you TPM Explorers as we take you down into the magical Chessington where many stories and memories were formed for Part 1 of 5 of the official trip report. It was a fantastic day and it was so lovely to see all the new faces and I have to say probably one of the nicest crowds we have had so far this year.

Thank you for your patience whilst I've been slaving away at the office, so without further ado, it's what a few of you have all been waiting for - The Official Chessington Trip Report 2013. What will happen on the TPM Explorers 5th adventure of this year?

What a way to start the morning, meeting all these new faces who all happen to wear glasses...

Before you TPM Explorers start your adventure can you please read this safety sign first please

Whilst It's dark, so he thinks no one will notice - Matt Creek gets pleasure from pressing a lot of buttons!

Han30 on the other hand gets pleasure from releasing an epic fart, and then blames it on the farting chair to hide her crime

It may be a bumpy ride, but Jaymiee looks a tad bored whilst Mr.Fish is on the lookout for the ladies

With the Runaway Train off limits - Phill Pritchard tries his best to get a sneaky look in

However Matt Creek uses his brain to go up some stairs and around the fence to see the full picture

Can I please re-introduce to you all the wonderful Jackstevens217, this time sporting some smexy glasses

This is a Sealion you know, not a seal!

Before some Tomb Blasting action, everyone gathers around to get ready to compete in this trips game Empire

So believe it or not, but we are already at the end of Part 1 of 5 of the Official Trip Report. But what will happen tomorrow. Will someone else join the explorers? Do the TPM explorers really know what the new attraction Zufari is after chatting about it on forums for the last few months? What animals will come out to play? Plus some bromance starts to form Everyone go awww....

All these answers and more revealing fun will be out just after midnight tomorrow (That's just under 24 hours you know )
    See you then!
(When all the parts are done you will see this blog entry, will have everything summarised into the one page - brilliant I know....)

Here's my trip report of my first ever TPM meet on Sunday.
After leaving (and walking the dog), I arrived at Chessington just after 9:15. Once I started walking on the path towards the entrance, my excitement really built up further. Once I had reached the outside of the entrance, I found a group of people which I learnt quickly were TPM. Peaj arrived shortly afterwards along with Mr Fish. Eventually , we entered the park where we met a few more members near Hocus Pocus before Peaj gave an introduction to everyone before we entered our first attraction.
Hocus Pocus was the first attraction which is a fun little attraction. The 2nd ride of the day was Rattlesnake which I went in a car with JamesC, Mer and Peaj which was great fun and were easily the loudest car. Next up, we all observed the area where Runaway Train is which is sadly still in a sorry state with no apparent. The third ride was Skyway Safari where I went on with Thrillseeker Alex and James in what I call the 'newbie' carriage. On the ride, we observed many beautiful views such as the sea life marquee and the brand new Thirteen theming which has appeared near the Chicken Shack.
After exiting skyway, more members arrived as we met Jack Stevens by the hotel entrance and EC around market square. We soon entered Tomb Blaster where I gained a score of 9,300. Next up, the group headed for the new attraction Zufari and after not queuing 45 minutes, we entered the pre show which everyone seemed very enthusiastic to keep Ghozi's secret of the cave . The pre show of the ride is very interactive with the audience and quite fun. Although the syncing of the voice was disappointing.
Once going on the ride which we got the three back rows of a vehicle, I took my first ride on Zufari. Most of the ride is a very enjoyable experience seeing the animals and atmosphere. However the cave was a bit of an anti-climax although got most of us quite wet. Zufari in summary is a great addition and though there are areas for improvement, Its a fun ride, 8/10.
After heading back up the Zufari pathway, we all took a ride on Ramesis Revenge. This was my first ride ever not just on Ramesis but a top spin overall. At first, I had strong adrenalin rush wondering how the ride would be and before long the ride began. After the ride finished, I came off finding the ride very enjoyable. I could've easily done it a second time.
After this, we were hoping to brave it rock less on Dragon Falls, but unfortunately the ride had broken down which meant the only thing we could witness from the ride was the eyesore of drop where the remains of the theming has been removed. Without further ado, we went in to Wild Asia and took a ride on Monkey Swinger. When the ride finished, we took a twist on Kobra which seemed to have of lot of people with birthdays riding it today.
Once we left Kobra, the final member attending MarkC arrived and next we took a bumping on the Tuk Tuk Turmoil where JamesC and I began our plan of targeting Peaj. After this ride, it was lunch time which due to fastrack for the Vampire at 2, I had to leave the group for a short while. Once reaching Transylvania and eating my lunch, I went on Vampire which I went through the fastrack route which goes through the way the old entrance did which although short and not mind blowing I think builds the ride up a bit more than the current forest queue line.
The ride was running quite smoothly today and doesn't feel as rough as it did last year and is a very enjoyable ride. Loading at this time seemed pretty good as they were dispatching the first train when the second one arrived. Also the station operations where you are batched to rows is an improvement as well as the re-routing of exit rider which in the past caused problems leaving the ride with the narrow pathway and the two back rows designation for the exit riders reducing throughput.
Once leaving the ride, I rejoined the group again shortly who were having lunch at Creaky Cafe which we soon took a splash on the duck territory that is the Bubbleworks which I rode with JamesC, Jack and EC which was a very fun and slightly wet journey. Once leaving the ride, I checked my ORP which I found hilarious which I decided to buy as a memory of my enjoyable ride. Following on from Bubbleworks, I took another fantastic ride on Vampire. Meanwhile in the queue line, the TPM meet game for the trip concluded which I will leave for Peaj to report on. Once arriving at the station, I rode Vampire with Mr Fish and having another fantastic ride.
After Vampire, we walked up the hill to Pirates Cove where I took a swashbuckling ride on Black Buccaneer which I sat at the very back with Phill Prichard and others. The ride op also must've found out we were a fan base and instead of the three usual rules gave us four others, one of those was to only report good things of the ride which I shall say, the ride was great fun.
The final ride of the day (or so we thought) was Dragons Fury which seemed to take a little longer than usual. Also while while TPM bought out the Dragons Treat shop, a large gap formed in the queue as well. Once we reached the station, we soon learnt of the disappointing new loading rule on the ride where only three adults were able to ride which meant everyone had to ride in threes.
Despite this rule though, it was a great fun ride and our car featured a lot of spinning and a very enjoyable ride. Once we left the ride, we said goodbye to Jack Stevens who was going home. Shortly afterwards, I decided to have a photo taken with me and the group which Definitely sums up how great the day had been so far. Shortly afterwards, we soon learnt that Zufari was still open and without hesitation, we all legged it to Zufari and everyone was able to get a second last ride on Zufari.
The pre-show this time was even more as JamesC got to do his monkey impression . The 2nd go was still fun but more relaxed as not as many animals were out than before. Once we left the ride, everyone then headed to around the area near Ramesis where most were going to head to the Monkey Gardens for a meal. Unfortunately due to various reasons, I wasn't able to attend so said my goodbyes to everyone and then set of to find my folks. I was in a very happy mood after the trip and while heading to the car saw Peaj and a few others just about to leave for the Monkey Gardens giving a last farewell before heading off on the journey home.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the day and am very pleased I attended. The rides were good but the company was excellent. I am Definately hoping to attend more future TPM meets as it was brilliant day and I got to meet many wonderful people.

Matt 236 got a reaction from J.S217 in Chessington TPM Trip

Matt 236 reacted to James & Co. in JamesC's First Meet/Chessington Trip Report
(Sorry about my lengthy Trip Report just as it was my first meet I thought I would do a special one for the occasion, also I apologise if it is not the best TR, it is my first one )
On Sunday the 21st April 2013 there was a lingering sense of excitement as me and my parents were driving 50 miles to the place that is called, Chessington.
As I got out of the car all I heard from the direction of the entrance was Peaj’s voice, it was like a beacon calling out.
The first thing that I did as soon as the gates opened was to walk through the cattle-pen to collect my first ever MAP, as soon as I had that I was on my way to the meeting point of Hocus Pocus halls, as it was my first ever meet the nerves were building up, but as soon as I saw everyone’s faces I smiled and went to talk to everyone.
As soon as I talked to people I felt really welcomed into the group, it was great, and I knew that I was going to have a great day from that point onwards.
The first attraction that we went to was Hocus Pocus halls, it was great fun, although I do think that Han30 got a bit scared and screamed a bit when a blast of air came from nowhere
We then headed off in the general direction of Mexicana, we waited for about a minute and then we were ready to enter Rattlesnake, in the car we had Peaj and Me in the front and then we had Matt Creek and Mer in the back, it was great fun and I think our car was the loudest
After that we headed over for a relaxing sit down on Safari Skyway, it was great fun having a train full of newbies to the meet (Me, Matt Creek and ThrillseekerAlex)
As I was on the ride I got a few calls and text’s from the later comers of the group (JackStevens217 and EC!) we headed to the main entrance to get Jack and then Peaj went off to Dragons Fury to save EC! From the wrath of the dragon.
After that little fiasco we wasted no time on getting to the back of the park where our next ride was Tomb Blaster (6100 on my first time), I thought that there would be a few parts that made me jump, but apparently not so, I really enjoyed it, pleased with my score but am annoyed with Peaj for getting a score in the 10’s of thousands.
After the ride on Tomb Blaster we decided that we would go and try the new ride that opened this year Zufari, the queue was saying 45 mins, but it was a lot shorter than that, if I say this ride has a lot of potential, the pre-show was entertaining for both the adults and the kiddes alike, the actual ride we got to see all the animals. The finale was a bit of a let-down but it is great fun to do with your friends.
We then headed over to Rameses Revenge where we all went on, I must say I was a bit disappointed that the water jets just about reached my hair and that was it, but it boosted my inversion count so I am happy
We then headed off to wild Asia where we decided to do Monkey Swinger which was great fun but I did get a bit dizzy after the ride We then decided to go over to Kobra, the queue line was taking for ever but we did sing happy birthday a few times to some people on the ride, once we got off we were greeted by the lovely MarkC (who looks older than he is), after that we went to the dodgems where we had hatched a plan to all go for Peaj once we were on the ride, although he knew about it we still carried on and went for him.
We calmed down for about 30 mins after that and split up and got some lunch, but as soon as we had finished it was onto the next ride.
We decided to do bubbleworks to give our food a chance to go down, I really enjoyed it and got a bit wet in the finale room, although I almost got my camera wet But all was fine in the end and I got a few really good photos’ from on the ride, although Mer did look a bit like a demon in one of the photos’.
We then headed over to Vampire where we had a bit of a wait, although we did have great fun in the queue line playing the game of the day, but I will not reveal that, that is down to Peaj, Vampire was running really well and felt less rough than it used to, they must have made some changes to the ride since I went in June last year.
We then headed over to Black Buccaneer where when asked how our large group met we replied on TPM, they then said that there were 4 rules instead of the usual 3, the extra one was that if we were to post anything online that it must be good, so I will stick to that rule and say that the ride was great, we had great fun and everyone managed to hold in their lunch.
The next ride of the day was Dragons Fury, due to the queue line being 45 mins we were expecting it to be the last ride of the day, the ride was great and we got the weight distribution perfect and got the best spin on the ride I have ever had.
After getting off the ride we waited for EC! to get his ORP and had the last group photo of the day before JackStevens217 had to leave us.
Suddenly we found ourselves sprinting across the park towards the last ride of the day Zufari, we had a great pre-show this time, I even got to do my monkey impression, also don’t laugh when Ghozi is telling you about the dangerous cave otherwise you will be told off
After a great day at the park everyone left us apart from those that were going to the meal, although when me and Mr Fish left the park via the Explorer Gate, silly Mr Fish forgot where he parked the car, after a bit of walking round we finally got into the car and he gave me a lift to the Monkey Puzzle (Thanks Mr Fish) we sat down and had a great laugh at the meal, but then it was time for me to depart, so I left them to travel the 50 miles back home, what happened after I left them is un-known.
I had a great day meeting everyone at my first meet, I can’t wait till the next one, will be great fun. Come back later on in the week when I will have the video ready with pics from the day.

My first meet was definitely a memorable one and for all the right reasons. I'm really, really glad I came today and those still who haven't been brave enough to do theirs yet or haven't got round to it, do it. I was so nervous at the beginning of the day but I felt by the end I had settled right in. It's probably the most fun I've had at a theme park in a long while and it was really great meeting all of you. Sorry I didn't get to have full blown conversations with every single one of you, and those I did, such as all the people at the meal, Jack, Matt etc, thank you. Hopefully in the not too far distant future I shall get to know all of you better as I will definitely be attending more meets. There was many highlights today, especially at the meal afterwards which I'm sure you will be filled in on at some point
Massive thanks to Peaj too for organising the event and I look forward to seeing/speaking to you all again soon!
