Oh come on best WING RIDER then also best theming in the UK then if u want to rip my post apart
  2. EC! replied to JoshC.'s topic in General Discussion
Ooooo I'd laugh but then cry if they said all the rides were going backwards. But Ciall Kennett is probably referring to X. Upgrading rides is probably best for thorpe no planning permission unless they intend they intend to put new track down unlikely in the swarms case but X will probs be having a refurb. And Benin I find raptor crap compared to Swarm and the theming isn't as out there as swarm end of!!

  4. EC! replied to JoshC.'s topic in General Discussion
The swarm will be officially have the best theming of any coaster on earth and definitely one of the best wing rider
  5. EC! replied to JoshC.'s topic in General Discussion
Well it's a world first. Worlds first roller train were part of it goes forwards and part of it goes backwards that isn't a maurer sohne spin coaster. Bit long winded but that is the fact. I'm getting excited now The Smiler in may and The Swarm:Mutated in march it's gonna be awesome this year. Two world firsts in a way.
  6. EC! replied to JoshC.'s topic in General Discussion
This isn't surprising one bit. There is a picture on Facebook and the hole train is undercover its mostly the two back rows do you guys think it will be on both trains?

I might of been a tad extreme with what I said about the name last night. I suppose I'm reversing my decision on the name. With the poster and all it fits quite well, I'm still abit unsure but I'm sure it will grow on me. As for the spider I love that they are including it. It will be awesome to weave through it . As for "The Inoculator" could it possibly be a renaming for Enterprise or Submission or the name for the spider or even the secret element.
  8. EC! replied to th13teen's topic in UK Attractions
I hate the name. I want something that sounds terrifying !!!!!!! Inoculator although I doubt is the name sounded better !
  9. EC! replied to th13teen's topic in UK Attractions
It's not as bad as "The Smiler"
  10. EC! replied to th13teen's topic in UK Attractions
If "The Inoculator" is the name then it's a name nobody guessed again and I for one, quite like it

For me I just hope that its an X refurb or retheme. Turning the 2 back rows of swarm backwards is like making a beautiful sponge cake but for the filling the person uses vindaloo curry... its just going to tits up if they do that. If they want to add to swarm in any way I would want extra themeing on the island or with trains do it 4D like X2 or Eejanaika, only then id be happy with any Swarm changes. I'm just praying to the universe it is X cos it needs the love!!

Yes!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see blivvy all dolled up this year. Finally the loving, tender care it so desperately needed is finally arriving. Can't wait X-Sector is gonna look the best place in the park by MILES!!!!

According to some people and Tower Times and some people on twitter, Alton Towers released an advert for 2013 that was on TV I'm not sure when or where but they said it was aired at 2pm today and will be put on later I think. Exciting!!
  16. Why would they build that when they have Stealth which is a LAUNCHED coaster. That would be abit stupid but with the B&M and the woodie that would be better, with the unstable ground for the woodie, that was on the SAW: the ride site, it could be fine in other parts of the park.
  17. Maybe a duelling wooden coaster. It's gimmicky if that's what the general public want cos your racing another train. But you could have unique high airtime layouts. That could do really well for Thorpe I think.
  18. I would love a woodie me seeming the only woodies in the UK at the mo is megafobia and the one's in Blackpool from what I can remember. This is just an example of a GCI Woodie.

There is is a major INVESTMENT for oakwood plz read OAKWOOD ANNOUNCES £4M INVESTMENT Posted by Oakwood Categories: blog Canaston Bridge, Narberth, Pembrokeshire Friday 21st December 2012 11:00AM Oakwood Theme Park has announced ambitious plans for a massive new investment programme for 2013. The Pembrokeshire attraction is to spend more than £4 million creating a major new family park area featuring a series of new rides and experiences. The attraction will also include a family friendly restaurant and café alongside outdoor play areas and themed retail experiences. Park Director Dominic Jones said: This represents by far the largest investment at the park for more than a decade and is a direct response to visitor feedback we have received. As well as creating a must-see new destination for families, the development also represents a major boost for the local economy and will create a number of new jobs. It will totally transform the visitor experience and provide a magical new series of attractions aimed specifically at the family market. As part of the investment we are also creating family-friendly facilities within the themed area as well as baby-changing facilities, high chairs and microwaves. This will be the largest new attraction of its kind in Wales and is the first phase in an ambitious and ongoing programme of investment over the coming years, he added. The new development will feature seven new rides and attractions, including a spectacular water ride alongside a series of childrens play areas and other themed attractions. Full details of the new attraction will be released early next year. Work is set to start on site in the next few weeks with a planned opening prior to the 2013 summer holidays. Set in 80 acres of spectacular countryside Oakwood is Wales biggest family adventure with more than 30 exhilarating rides and amazing experiences to discover. A unique combination of attractions includes world-class roller, tower and sky coasters, spectacular family rides, childrens themed play areas and so much more. Oakwood Theme Park will announce more information in early 2013. For press enquiries and interview opportunities please call 01834 815170.
