It's called a "Pleasure Beach" which, as you indicate, is not a theme park. The physical position of BPB is restricted, but is arguably the best seaside park in the UK. The attendance of the public at BPB does not need to be attracted by theming but by new items which may differ from their present items.

I know I said it to some of the group on Sunday, but I used to love the feeling of "now what's it doing?" and the effects, I.e. noise, wind, and I believe water spray. The stuttering movements created a feeling of insecurity for new riders, for me it was good.

Merlin have to make a statement in Court to emphasize the overall improvements now in place to avoid the possibility of a further incident; this will have to reassure the public that it is now safer than it apparently was at the time of the incident.

We are all different, I know of two people in another coaster group who never ever ride, they don't fancy it, but they enjoy the social side. Some people don't like gherkins.

You've done Stealth, more G than you will experience on a flight, and the height is only relative to your seat on the ride/plane. On the other hand, if you have the finance, you could go by Eurostar.

I think one has to consider what value the Merlin Annual Pass gives to the purchaser, and that includes the chances to use venues worldwide. If it was considered a "bargain" in the past, that value really hasn't dropped, the availability of items at each venue has. Personally, other than TP, I only anticipate one other Merlin venue visit annually, so I only purchase the TP Annual Pass. Now I do consider £60 a bargain.
