  1. Explain how "money-grabbing" is ever honest? Making a profit is another thing entirely.
  2. Everyone complains about money-grabbing but if you look long and hard, pretty much all companies do it, they're just more subtle about it.
  3. It's so ridiculous I love it <3
  4. Sick of the constant Merlin bashing now. We get it, Merlin aren't perfect, but seriously it's like the TPM slogan now!
  5. Hope it all goes well! Don't worry though there's no trouble, some people just get a little sensitive I'm sure we're all happy to chip in if you need anything, including me!
  6. ^ I'm saying whatever you or anyone else has/is making doesn't stop others from making documentaries about things, for example dark rides. Not insulting anyone's video-making skills etc.
  7. ^^ She can do what she wants haha, even if the topic has been covered by someone completely unrelated to her BTEC!
  8. ^ Just because some other person is doing a little film on dark rides, it doesn't stop anyone else from doing it too!
  9. ^ I hope not, although we have two Nemesis coasters so... :L
  10. Shame Tiesto is awful then. What I'm wondering is why they built the building before placing all the internal track? They'll have a job feeding the start of the lift into the hole in the building!
  11. Just thought, maybe it's because unlike my windows laptop (which worked fine with RCT3), the macbook doesn't have left/right click buttons underneath the trackpad!
  12. ^ Yeah I had a fiddle with those settings a while ago and still no luck! Thanks though! On my old laptop everything was fine!
  13. I love your use of trees, makes it look very realistic actually! Oh, I have a problem with RCT3... I have recently switched to Mac, and on my Macbook Pro, it's hard to rotate the camera in game. I have to randomly swirl 3 or 4 fingers around on the trackpad, and occasionally I can lower/raise/rotate the view. Any help from anyone who knows what I'm taking about? I do have a mouse that I can use, but it's a pain having to be on a flat surface to use it :/
  14. That song is the perfect "sing badly together with your best friends whilst very drunk" tune hahaha. Very catchy <3
  15. Call Me Maybe is actually such a tune <3 The other song is catchy but her voice just drives me up the wall Good song choices though!
  16. I think Paramount Park would pull it off better, purely because of space and budget (which I assume will be massive). Shame it's 6 years away from opening, if it does </3
  17. Where on earth did you get such a disgusting attitude? I can hear it, and if I can hear it and feel happy listening to it, it shouldn't matter to you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Scruffy Dog, who as a lot of you know do the sets for the Fright Nights mazes at TP, have released this photo on their Facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/scruffydogltd/photos/a.239532496065728.64300.236634323022212/875481749137463/?type=1&theater

I see your logic, 100%, although to me a dark ride has to be (mostly) artificially lit, and include "scenes" to help convey a narrative. I'm probably making no sense

^ But rides like Arthur at Europa Park are considered dark rides, and the ride is visible to passing guests!

To me, dark rides convey narratives in a (mostly) enclosed setting, where the majority of light is artificial. For example, I consider Revenge of the Mummy a dark ride, even though it's a roller coaster. Whereas I don't consider things like Expedition Everest a dark ride, because even though there's a strong theme/narrative there, most of the ride path is naturally lit by the sun. I'm pretty sure that's why dark rides are called "dark rides", because no matter how brightly or dimly lit the ride is, it's all artificial and would be dark otherwise. That's just my opinion anyway X isn't a dark ride because let's face it, there just isn't a clear narrative that the ride interacts with.
  22. Those years were dark, dark times haha

I'm actually with Benin on this one tbh. A dark ride and a coaster in a shed are completely different.
