True, and there's nothing wrong with being sensitive, but that's ridiculous tbh. It's banter. They didn't call a guest "mentally disabled" or anything. I really don't see how it's offensive.

Do you have a sense of humour? No.
  3. ^ That must have been so annoying! At both Pizza Hut at Thorpe and the one at Alton Towers, there's always been more than enough pizza whenever I visit! Maybe it's just down to the staff on each day!
  4. ^ Or just be sensible? We're not all binge-eaters. Eat what you want until you feel you've had enough, and refill your drink if you're still thirsty. It also means you can try different pizzas instead of ordering one, only to find you don't like the taste. I don't see what's so challenging about a buffet.
  5. Nah I think it was alright. Guys if you're that upset about this new outlet then just don't eat there...
  6. Am I the only person who had a positive experience at the Alton Towers Pizza Place? I thought the staff were lovely and the pizza was actually really tasty considering how fast they had to be made! It was also kept really hygienic when I visited, so I can't really fault the place. Oh and compared to other pizza chains, the pizza wasn't overly salty or sugary either

^ The Amsterdam Dungeon's is awful. Apparently guests embark on a "With Hunt", supposedly meaning Witch Hunt, and it is "sometime pretty scary" according to another part of the site.
  8. My point still stands, you're saying we're all going to be disappointed by this new addition that you must know about... So tell me, what's coming to Thorpe Park? Share your wisdom with us...
  9. So we're going to be "disappoint" by something that hasn't been revealed yet?
  10. I love how some people here think manufacturers offer coasters as competition prizes, and that two have already been "claimed"...
  11. I've never blacked out on a roller coaster, I'm guessing my body is slowly getting used to it... I did see stars on the Swarm, when you circle around the helicopter. That was odd...

Yeah I went on a saturday last year, arrived at CITW 20 minutes early, and still had to queue 40 minutes after the gate opened.

MBV was awful if you were in the standby queue. I might consider getting a fastrack for it this year.
  14. I see it a lot on Youtube... Surely it's obvious when they hold their camera/phone about the height of the seat in front of them?

I think I'm going on the Tuesday of half term, it's the only day of the month that all of my friends are free Work commitments are so annoying </3

I might try Brave it Alone this year if my friends are up for it. Apparently they swear at you/manhandle you a bit as well? I mean I'm never opposed to a quick grope now and then...
  17. ^ I seriously doubt people wouldn't be interested if a Talocan clone appeared at Thorpe. Soundtrack, effects and all...
  18. ^ Whilst I agree slightly, I think a well themed one would improve the park. In my opinion, it would draw crowds, but only if the theming is impressive (like Talocan). Plus if you have that dramatic theming, you then have your "killer image", as Varney would say. A ride that flips upside-down, has fire + water effects, and amazing theming would be easy to advertise. And more guests means more money for Thorpe Park, meaning they would benefit more than by adding nothing, unlike what you suggested And you said Rameses Revenge has short queues, well that's probably because the main audience of Chessington will rarely be interested in an intense ride like Rameses! That's just my view though.
  19. ^ Which rules? Sounds interesting... I'm guessing they can't swing the boat over the height of the static structure?

^ In that video it shows what could be an outside section on Studio 13... If it's true, and they do it well, I'll seriously cream my pants <3
  21. ^ Walk on for Smiler? You lucky sod
  22. I suppose Candy Holland's style is very dark, so although I'd love a happier theme for the next coaster, I'm not holding my breath! Can't say I don't love what Candy and the team did with Raptor at Gardaland though <3
  23. How would adding nothing be better than adding a flat ride that would be fun, and suck up some of the queues from the major rides and coasters? And you say they're unpopular rides, yet Ripsaw always has long queues whenever I visit, and Talocan is one of the most popular rides at Phantasialand.
  24. I'd imagine the newer models like Talocan would get a lot closer to 1000pph though, considering there's no additional lapbars, just the OTSR.
